My father was a communist in the jungle struggle for freedom and that we have in the country, with the exception of poverty, people can not express my opinion people are leaving their country in tears
I am originally from Laos, now studying in Russia, I just want to share their opinions with their fellow countrymen that while the authorities in Laos, the Communist Party, then in Laos never bude human rights and freedom of speech, I am writing this because I know what it is. The people in Laos live in fear, afraid to say what they think, and it's become a tradition. Why we can not try to protect his future at least, the children, their rights
What you said are untrue, Laos is not colonized by Vietnam but it might have some influences from Viet nam and the whole world are recognized Laos as indepedent country, Laos has the right to govern their own country following the same policies as other countries under international law and protect under international law. All lao people in the country or abroad must recognize and must understand the past/history of Laos, we can't not live in the past and we must move on to the future of all LAO
Veitnam is now the #1 US trading partner in Southeast Asia. We all know that Veitnam dominates Laos in the 21st century international trade. So it would be hard for Laos to gain freedom from Veitnam.
I think that the political organizers of this event should find themselves different kind of strategy. One idea is to find Global Investers who wish to invest in Lao Natural Resources, as a guide to set up political agenda. Then the real political movement can start from there.
