It took me about 30 tries before I managed to defeat Jubileus on NORMAL mode for the first time. I just finished the game again on Hard mode, and it wasn't easy... Now I'm starting again on Climax mode... and I just died on the first chapter- Haha! Oh, well. At least I actually made it to where I could unlock Climax mode. I just need to spend more time mastering it and hopefully be as good as this guy :D Bayonetta is hard, but when you beat it, it's so rewarding!!!

I think he's a Lumen Sage, not an angel. Because the outfit he wears is similar to the outfit of the only other Lumen Sage we've seen. That being said, he's damn powerful either way.

@GayLPer well hes actually not a lumen sage at all, he is an angel, because rodin fallen from paradiso and the platinum ticket is the thing that has rodin's angel power.and also the fact that he has a halo behind his head which signifies he is an angel

True, it does say he's a fallen angel, though the ticket isn't what restores his power, its the halos that the platinum ticket is worth.

All the same, though, he's dressed almost exactly like Balder, and aside from the halo on his head, he fits the Lumen Sage bill perfectly. Perhaps Lumen Sages can become angels?

I just started playing (finished on normal, working through hard) and this is a great game. About this strategy - one little tweak to make it perfect - instead of constantly backing away you need to inch forward as you push him back. Once he is "out of the ring" all he will do is try to come back -straight back; right into more foot missiles. I pushed him way out there and just kept spamming the kick missiles until he was over and done. He had no chance once he got pushed out of the ring.

It's an accessory you can buy called the Climax Bracelet which allows all of your attacks to be Wicked Weave attacks, but it's really difficult to get, I used cheats to get mine.

@TheOneTitan He equipped the Climax Bracelet and probably the Gaze of Despair accessory along with having Lt Kilgores on hos feet to do those leg shot that also come out as wicked weaves.

@TheOneTitan OK, after looking at his battle, this is what he has equipped. He uses the Pillow Talk light saber, Lt Kilgore rocket launchers on his feet. He has the Climax Bracelet and the Evil Harvest Rosary equipped as accessories, but no Immortal Marionette. If you do this, be sure you don't equip the Immortal Marionette, that accessory, though making you more powerful and faster, doesn't work well with the weaves he is doing in the video.

I was honestly hoping Rodin would be a a full out DEMON, or hell (no pun intended), a Bayonetta version of SATAN. I mean come on, it's WAY too obvious from his FIRST APPEARANCE he was meant to have demonic powers, but instead he's just a fallen angel, which while religously cool I guess deprives him of his demonic appearance and badass "Akuma-like" super form I was expecting for his boss fight. I was also hoping you'd get to PLAY AS HIM (some new moves would be nice), but nooooo...
