@VanessaOcampo I quite like the choreography. She is an amazing dancer and i feel it is great that you dont seem to be like a stage mother ever so pushy but stil let your daughter follow her passion. SHE IS A AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!:) i am from Australia so i dont know what the whole touch of class thing is but to me she is still beautiful . Do u still keep intouch with Serria Pettit? I ve seen from pictures . They look like great friends!
Amanda is a beautiful dancer but I enjoyed her routines much more when she was at TOC. All of the routines from The Element look the same, the choreography is always the same and predictable. They do have a lot of great routines but nothing is new or different..there is not really a "wow" factor.
@OhItsErika i disagree with you.When amanda was younger TOC seemed perfect for her,but every dancer should extend their horizons and learn different types of choreography.
She is extremely talented, but maybe you just don't know how to spot talent. Take your negative comments elsewhere as I'm sure nobody wants them here. This little girl is a phenomenal dancer.

Amanda will remain at The Element, Thanks for saying she is amazing....I just think it's important for people to know that there is so much more to life ;)
@VanessaOcampo I think your and your family's decision is great for you all...but for the record, for some people, life is dance, school becomes dance (I have my BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography) and some people would like to have their life centered on dance. The comment your responding to was just complimenting the talent your daughter has been graced with, as she is beautiful dancer. But please, do me a favor and remember that for some of us--dance IS life.
@taraac As are many things....but I will not allow dance to dictate Amanda's future. I love that she only goes 3 days a week and still can do things with friends and go to movies, every weekend that there is no competition, spend critical time with family, travel and visit different places, enjoy Camps in the summer, and LIVE another life outside of Dance.

NO. I will not allow my child to be on the road 3 hours a day just to go to a Dance Studio. Sorry...I'm not so worried about Amanda's Style and technique. School is our number ONE priority. Amazing or not, there are certain things in life that are much more important than dance. The dedication that Erika Leedy and Kevin Hermann have shown to Amanda is incomparable.

We are driving 25minutes now to a studio up from the 5 down the street and that feels like a lot. 3 hours is too much!!!!!!!!!! Amanda is a role model to my daughter. Hope to see you guys this season!
yes amanda is definetly amazing, i would never travel 3 hours to dance either! but did the mcclures actually move or do they just travel that much? :S
@stepherzX6 I had asked about sway in the past and i believe vanessaocampo said that sway never really did it for amanda and she didnt want to put it up. definately double check with her tho, because i would like to see it too ;)

From .20 to .25 she was very sloppy but other than that great! Like her better now that she dances more and is not all tricks like before..
