Whats worse is that they never even explain it, or attempt to bring light to the subject. I assume she died in childbirth and Goofy has been in silent mourning since. True love unnoticed? These cartoons were made in a time where they were still hand drawn. not this computer animated mess. Its the detail of the cartoon from the artsit hand that makes them so lovable, True that computer animation can be detailed, but so can a pencil. As for me there will never be cartoons like these for this generation to enjoy. ;0)
