When i was young and stupid I skated down that hill, got to the bottom by the roundabout and saw my parents driving up the hill other way shoulda seen their faces absolutely priceless

Awesome! Thanku for the memories! I was bought up in Wainui for the first 8 years of my life! I remember travelling over that hill and down in the valley very vividly! Even the old griffins biscuit factory at the bottom there! I left home when I was 10yrs old and have been living in Perth Western Australia for the last 29 years. I've only been back once, so that when I see things like this, it pulls at my heart!!! Thankyou!

i was brought up in wainuiomata we had the last house comin out before the hill. Moved to the big smoke auck in 1975 didnt get to go back till 2005 man the place has changed.good memories of the place thanks for the vid.
