just to put this who-ripped-off-who business to rest, Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 came out in the late 70's while Starcraft and Warcraft came out in the 90's. Citadel changes the look of Warhammer and 40k to occasionally to keep it popular with the times. To put is simply, Warhammer was first. Blizzard thought it was cool, so they took it, changed some of the lore, put on a different coat of paint, and called it their own thing. Bliz has to pay copyright fees to blis every year.
I don't know why or how this happened.. but this video is POWERFUL! I don't know much about the game Dawn of War, but this video the first two times I watched it made me feel powerful. The 3rd and 4th time I watched it however, made me cry. I'm not ashamed to admit that, and I'm not some combat messed up soldier that doesn't realize the difference between this and real life. It's just something in the animation combined with the music gives a powerful comparison. Well done! 15 out of 10!
aye a definitely hav to agree with u there mate just the whole combination of the intro to dawn of war and that part of hans zimmer's goes really well, am not sure what it is but a think the music helps express the courage of those soldiers fighting a tough and brutal enemy and them showing such dedication to achieve there goal, like u seen at the end were he charges up the hill by himself while being shot just to plant the flag to say they hav took that hill and gave their lives

Games Workshop decided to ask Blizzard to create an RTS game for their tabletop strategy game Warhammer. Just before they finished it, Games Workshop cancelled. Blizzard didn't want to scrap the whole thing, so they named the game WarCraft and released it as their own.
Just thought I'd give you guys the backstory since some Blizzard fanatics will say under any circumstances that Warhammer ripped-off WarCraft and 40k ripped-off StarCraft.

This video is great. The song goes perfectly with the scene and the last part of the scene is awesome. Whole scene plus the song lead to an epic video. Gears of War (1 and 2) are probably the most boring games Ive played. Absoultely no entertainment value. I mean, the back story of the game, that not mentioned in the game, the whole thing about the founding of the Coalition of Organized Governments is quite interesting, but the game its self Id gave at the most 1 star out of 10.

Gears of War (1 and 2) are probably the most boring games Ive played. Absoultely no entertainment value. I mean, the back story of the game, that not mentioned in the game, the whole thing about the founding of the Coalition of Organized Governments is quite interesting, but the game its self Id gave at the most 1 star out of 10.

company of heroes > DOW
gears of war 2 > DOW
starcraft + warcraft 3 > DOW
even some of the C&C games > DOW
