  • i was at this show in the front row..awesomeee...starting line is already back together i think..so good news

  • FYS on stage too at the end

  • seeing this live was an amazing experience !!

  • theres a guy on the stage at the end that looks like the i set my friends on fire singer :D

  • it might be, their entire crew, friends, family, and other musicians ran out on stage at the end..

  • i saw person L in cleveland last sunday and i asked kenny vasoli what are the chances of the starting line getting back together and he said like 95 percent in the next year or so. in case anyone cares

  • @jonahdevorak Dude are you serious!!!!???? Omg you have to be kidding right?

  • dumb question time,

    why did they break up?

    i never did find out.

if anyone could let me know that'd be great.

    STARTING LINE IS EPIC!!!!!!!

  • pretty much they were sick of getting shafted by these record labels. in other words the same thing that took place when they were with Geffen Records happened again when they were with Virgin Records. Virgin Records didn't really press for air play with Island. Instead, the execs at Virgin told the starting line to go out and write a new album, something that they did not want to and who could blame em. Directions was one of the best rock albums of 2007 and Virgin was a fool not to advertise it

  • damn. it's really been one year since this:/

  • would've given anything to see this.

    miss them so much!

  • i think i cried during this haha

  • gee why didnt i watch this

  • I miss this day....

  • this is sad =/

  • i spot trevor ( the maines [ex]merch guy)

  • Wow this was awesome! Anyone feel like telling me everything they kno about Bamboozle 09?

  • The Get Up Kids are playing and they banned crowd surfing. Teenage Hippo will be gracing the premises again feel free to stop by the tent and say hey to us all. That is all

  • the last :30 of this video is amazing.

  • i was there! the starting line was hands down amazing. flying from mexico city to LA to see these guys plus other bands live was one of the best decisions i've ever made!

  • i dont even like this band that much and it saddnes me.

i just always find it sad when a band breaks.

    besides blink one eighty two.

    fuckers.

  • i seen them at warped tour 03 lol

  • i just got fucking chills when all the people came on stage and started singing ha

  • i was there but the best part was all the little kids crying they misssed this because they were seeing 3OH!3 or We The Kings if i remember right.its good though because i got there autograph because i had VIP status!

  • i was there and i cried ):

  • this makes me want to cry

  • i miss them soooo much so glad i was there

  • oh mann. this is depressing.

    i miss them.

  • dammn i wish i was older.

if i could drive, id be living there.

  • alright first of all this is an amazinggggg vid so nice job. and yeah it is rly sad its their last song but it was a kick ass ending and the crowd at the end was AWESOMEEEEE on the stage. i couldn't realy see this because we were being shoved into mosh pits 24/7

  • this makes me cry every fucking time.

  • loved the don't break up chant....

  • FYS is up there

    God i want them back

    sooo bad

  • god i miss them already..

  • i meant only real "drive thru" bands...not only real bands hahaha

  • im sorry my comment was unclear, taking back sunday, thrice, the used, folly, my chemical romance, were all bands who played skate and surf. the early november, the starting line, steel train, and homegrown were the only real bands who played skate and surf. and there was no actual drive thru stage..there was the convention hall, the arcade stage in the hallway, the stone pony, and the auditorium.

  • such an amazing performance.

  • dudes shoes on 3:13 =

    sweet

  • This was the bets performance by any band i have ever seen. I mean how many of them would let fans go on the stage at the end?

  • I spy lots 'o GK on stage at the end, haha :D

    Amazing video.

  • my very first band to listen to, I love and will miss them so much....

  • this was like my millionth tsl show... and i am so sad now that i cant go to anymore... btw this is an amazing vid.

  • The pit for this was AMAZING. All their pits usual are but still whatever so good.

    That is all

  • so sad so good

  • i was in the front row for this too..i've watched this like 5 times in a row

  • =[[[[[[[[[

    this made me incredibly sad.

first the format and then this.

  • I was right in front wow. hahaha

  • I was somewhere in the middle for this.

    wow. just wow.

Very very epic and sad at the very end.

  • :(

i can't wait till they come back. this was amazing.

  • i was right next to the stage. this was incredible.

  • they will be back 2011!!! its just a break they arent done for good

i was there right up front it was amazing !!!!

  • Anthony Green sounds like a fag. or a woman, one of the two

  • I'm sorry you don't like and/or know what vocal range is. Never been in any music classes have you? Lets keep this video clean of mud slinging for christ sakes.

  • I actually like anthony green saosin and circa. just im the biggest TSL fan, and when someone says "finally these fags gave it up, something something about circa"..i had to come back with something...anthony green and kenny are friends too.

  • I'm aware they are I cited that below haha. I mean Circa is one of my favorite bands but hating on The Starting Line or hell any of the bands that were the orginal Drive-thru line up is just retarded. Bamboozle would probably still be Skate and Surf and strictly old school punk bands if not for the drive-thru stage. That is all

  • is that what Skate and Surf at Asbury became? I never knew that. Old School Drive Thru..priceless...

  • Yeah pretty much I mean notice when bamboozle started and when skate and surf ended. And agreed about old school drive thru.

    That is all

  • i would just like to clear this up. the drive thru stage had absolutely nothing to do with skate and surf becoming bamboozle. skate and surf was not just old school punk bands. taking back sunday, thursday, thrice, the used, folly. the layout of asbury park was just not practical. it had the convention hall which had like, 3 or 4 stages, and then the stone pony and the building next to it as the other 2 stages, which were down the boardwalk, which was just annoying

  • thursday and thrice didn't play skate and surf until 03. I'm not to sure about the used and or my chem but it was around the same time I do believe. Drive Thru had a stage called the summer invasion stage in 01 and 02 where Something Corporate, The Movielife, New Found Glory, RX Bandits, Allister, and Finch played just to name a few. If you don't consider The Movielife a real "Drive Thru band." Please be quiet. What I was saying was they were the first of the new wave of pop punk bands to play s

  • kate and surf. I know the layout sucked and that was part of it but if you're going to try and correct someone who has lived and breathed drive thru since Midtown released their first E.P off the label. If you need some kind of proof that there was a drive thru stage see if you can find the Drive Thru Records DVD Vol.1 or at least the poritions of live footage from it. That is all

  • Don't call yourself a Circa fan considering Anthony acknowledges and knows what The Starting Line has done for the scene. If you don't do the same you aren't a circa fan at all. My only regret is not taping him when he said that. How does it feel to be a dumbass. That is all

  • when and where do i hate on the starting line? the starting line is one of my favorite bands. i happen to own all of their records and say it like you mean it on vinyl. so i don't know where you get the idea that i don't like the starting line, or drive thru bands. Steel Train, The Early November, Homegrown, NFG, and the Starting Line are bands I grew up with.

so before you go dishing out stupid words like dumbass...why don't you talk about what i actually stated.

  • there was obviously a miscommunication. you just said it yourself, there was no drive thru stage, it was the summer invasion stage, hosted by drive thru. so what i said was true, there was never a "drive thru" stage.

2nd, don't talk to me about the movielife, i'm from Long Island...i still live here, and I am born

  • and raised supporting my local scene, so you can shut your mouth on that. seriously...shut it. i'm 23 years old i've been going to shows since i was 13, i don't need lessons from you.

third, don't dish words out on me on stuff i never said. did i say the starting line didn't do anything for the scene? i think you're getting a little defensive over shit that...i didn't say. thrice and thursday is 03 you were right, my bad.

but bamboozle was made because of money and diff sponsers

  • it had absolutely nothing to do with the actual bands playing. but again, what i said...about thrice and thursday, and mychem in 03...they alll played skate and surf...and none of them every played no drive thru stage. so ...where you get your opinion from, that's fine, but i'm basing it on pure facts which are..

A)never a drive thru stage called the Drive Thru Stage

B)bamboozle was a new name run by new promoters

c)you follow drive thru like a teenage girl

    d)im hungry and gota poo

  • everytime i watch this i get the chills

  • i was there, i was like right by you, too.

this was so sad, i just teared up a little.

  • i was there.

    i couldnt help it..

im gona miss them a hell lot !

    r.i.p tsl <3

  • as soon as everyone came out on stage at the end .. i completely lost it. i was crying so bad at the end, i really didn't want to but i couldn't help it.

    <333

  • they didnt break up...they are just out til 2011. they are being pushed by their label so they decided to take a break, do some side projects and live alittle before playing 275 days out of the year in TSL again. good choice lol

  • That was quite an ending. I was surprised at all the other bands that came in at the end. Great Perfomance!

  • I'm so bummed that I could only go to day 1.

    RIP TSL.
