Stupid question but why can't you put water on power lines??? what about the power lines when it rains? I don't get it

@UJustR4pedMe The electricity in that line travels up the water stream passes through the firefighters and into the pumper. At the end of the day you have seriously hurt or dead firefighters and a fried pumper. Not a dumb question at all. And for a downed power line in the rain, stay back. The electricity will travel through puddles!

that was a bonfire and a bbq,, all us neighbors stood around with hot dogs on a stick and cooked them in that fire, it was a lot of fun,, all the neighbors where here , where were you? j/jk
