  • Very nice person

  • God had nothing to do with this. Genetics and practice did however.

  • @ZombieLincoln666 God made genetics and made practice possible.

  • @gnehzeey

    Prove it.

    Ah shit, you can't.

  • Pretty cool that he talks about how he loved watching the GS warriors with Baron Davis. Now he'll likely be starting over Baron for the rest of the season in NY.

  • what other teams did he have offers from?

  • hhahaha wtf i went to high school with him no wonder our basketball team was so good

  • PALO ALTO!!!

  • He's God's perfect messenger.

  • @sunsetpark20 i wouldn't go that far...im a fan but he's no god's messenger.

  • @sunsetpark20

Yeah! Jesus aint got SHIT on J-Lin!

  • great guy. i hope he does well this season

  • Wow at 200 pounds hes got pretty good size for a guard. Finally, an Asian basketball player with the speed and the penetrating ability that we havent seen before. At Golden State, he probably gonna play behind Monta Ellis and Stephen Curry. Since those 2 guys are young stars, Lin's still got a long ways to go but best of luck to Lin.

  • is he wearing 2 watches?

  • @jenni3337 noo they are not watches..those are wrist bands

  • Go Warriors!

  • GSW!!!!

  • YES. AMERICAN BORN CHINESE FTW!

NOT TAIWANESE. FUCK THAT SHIT. TAIWAN IS CHINA. TAIWAN= republic of china.

  • @darrengotkicks lol uh, you're a moron. he can be ethnically chinese, but he's still from taiwan. just cause he says hes american born "chinese" doesnt mean hes from china. many of my taiwanese friends say theyre ABCS but reaffirm that theyre from taiwan.

  • @forreal22 Yeah, but all Taiwanese think they arent not chinese but tawainese. But they are ethnically Chinese.

  • @darrengotkicks well, that's because we are Taiwanese. We are people from "Taiwan," which is a separate democratic country, so we are Taiwanese. Most of the people on the island are ethnically Chinese sure, but like every place, there are aboriginals who, in this case, do not have Chinese ancestry. Also, many in Malaysia, Singapore and other Asian countries have many ethnically Chinese citizens, yet, there's really no question of their sovereignty. Taiwanese = Taiwanese. I stand corrected.

  • @forreal22 technically taiwan isnt even a country. china's people could just step over taiwan and make it crumble. taiwan didnt even get accept to olympics lol.

  • @darrengotkicks i'd like to make several points here. first of all, taiwan is certainly a country, maybe not politically speaking in many countries (because of China), but on principle it is. We have our own currency, government, cultural variations, etc. second of all, yes china could do that if they wanted to, but theyre not that stupid. taiwan and china have many mutual business and economic relationships. lastly, taiwan is in the olympics: its called chinese taipei because of china though

  • @forreal22 How bout this. Go golden state warriors. And stop crying. Monta Ellis for the win! And Jeremy Lin for China!

  • @darrengotkicks haha, typical response when cornered with no more "witty" retorts. Jeremy Lin for Taiwan and the US! idiot.

  • @forreal22 suck my giant kock. Even if you do comment back, I wouldn't reply or even look at your reply and simply delete. So you have know way to come back at me. cause i wouldnt be looking hahaha. I win.

Keep talking I wouldn't look at your respond.

  • @darrengotkicks awww, your english is so good :D. good for you!

  • NO SHIT HES FROM AMERICA

  • @ForewordLateral sorry but that last statement wasn't really necessary...it's stereotyping big time and now a days there are many Asian American parents supporting their kids of their dreams. besides...he does have a harvard degree he can always fall back on haha i'm pretty sure his parents gotta be damn proud

  • HOME OF PALO ALTO WOOOOOO

  • Pride of Taiwan!!! Looking forward to his performance in NBA!

  • man, he's lucky. an nba contract and a harvard degree? i aint gon lie, i wish i was him lol

  • He is Taiwanese!!!

  • asian + warrior = assassin..... <JEREMY LIN!

  • @Emron925A samurai dumb fuck

  • @d2thh725 your a dumb fuck you faggot ass bitch

  • @Emron925A you're

  • @d2thh725 wow grow up you little dumbass kid

  • Why does it seem like hes short on breathe?

  • @EV1031 asian american anxiety syndrome, it's a bitch.

jeremy overcame a lot of controversy, good stuff.

  • Welcome to the Warriors! Glad to have him on board.

  • Smart move by the warriors to get an Asian American player like Lin, he can definitely appeal to that demographic in Oakland CA.

  • at the least this guy should be a solid player. i mean, he has a high basketball IQ hes gonna make good decisions. hes pretty athletic and he can drive get to the hole quick. he has decent passing skills and is good at distributing the ball. he should be a better replacement for cj watson. but he has to work on is his jump shot

  • @amatian I think most young players need to work on their jump shot unless their names are Steph Curry or Anthony Morrow LOL

  • it's the GOLDEN KID!

  • Comment removed

  • @cebuanostud

hahaha he's the golden kid, literally

  • personally im a chicago bulls fan, but i love Jeremy, he is very exciting to watch and he is a very intelligent player with so much defense and hustle. He needs to improve his jump shooting and 3 point shots, but those things can be worked on, I hope Golden State do well with him leading the Warriors and make it to the playoffs

  • :) there are many things about jeremy's story that are markedly different from that of the average nba player, but 7:34 is particularly so.

  • ..man i guess =/. im just gonna wait til the first game and see how the line up turns out ..honestly i cant say im really excited as much as some of the warrior fans below me cheering for the season tp come. so uhh ill just have to wait and see for myself with all hoestly im not happy with the trades and everything i just felt like they completely toarn our team apart. *sighs* like im just trying ot say im just gonna have to wait and see.

  • @MoneyRizzle51iZz0h that is at least sensible

  • Can't wait for the season to start! GO LIN

  • time for the LIN DYNASTY!

  • Go Jerry, go Jerry, Go ! Representin' !! Congrats !!!

  • i hope he plays tougher than he does his interviews

  • Comment removed

  • he seems too calm and not excited haha! WELCOME ABOARD JEREMY LIN!

  • what is that in the middle of the screen?

  • @madamal either a ghost or a shadow, but probably a shadow

  • Iam glad he is here but they took out CJ Watson.Warriors are just losing it.I dont understand. If i was the owner or gen. manager for a basketball team i will not lose or get any players.Keep the players that you have and make them better. Its stupid how you have a player for like 2 or 3 years and they get better and lose him in the end.

  • @speedygonzoles who the fuck cares about CJ Watson? He was garbage. Steph is a great PG and Jeremy Lin will be a better backup than CJ ever was.

  • @2Trill2ILL fuck yeah he will

  • i am excited that jeremy in coming to golden state!

  • there only giving him 250k a year. thats chump change for a good player.

  • @bigbadasschaya

    500k, my source!

  • @bigbadasschaya we don't know how good he is at a pro level. summer league and college is one thing. But playing with big boys is different. So we'll see.

  • @bigbadasschaya a but thats still alot of money tho no lie

  • @bigbadasschaya really does suck because he was undrafted and what not but if he does good after this season he can demand a new contract

  • @bigbadasschaya no wrong, they are giving him 473,604 a year after tax

  • @bigbadasschaya it is chump change but ill take that for doing something you love and is fun than any job

  • @bigbadasschaya I totally agree dude, it's only 250k a year they're giving him? I thought it'd be more like 450k.

  • @TruthfuLie well on espn it says he's getting 473k

  • @osuBuckeyesownsNCAA It would be awesome to see him with lakers but he'll end up like the last chinese guy if he was on the lakers.

  • i think we all trying to see his playand his game...... whish him the best, and by the way those whatever Taiwanese proud people, please dont keep posting those childish comments, LOL

  • yee yee asians!

  • Looks like this guy likes to go to the basket.

  • Warriors got themselfs a steal with Lin, he proves he can play and excel at each level he's been on with his work ethic and basketball IQ, just a gut feel he's going to be a great playmaker once he adepts the nba style offense, 2 - 3 years he's going to be an ASSET...by the way when is his jersey coming out I wanna buy 3

  • Comment removed

  • AYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE WE GOT JEREMY LIN LES GO!!!!!!!!!!! MORE ASIAN GIRLS TO THE GAMES WOOHOO!!! =)

  • @yoitzjiimmy hahaahahaa

  • I'm Asian and can ball too. check out my videos on my channel! Good luck to Lin he's the best!!!!!! Too bad he didn't back up Kobe though with Lakers!

  • @xTheNoobx Better than a Center whos injured 80% of the time. Seriously, they were making good moves, but wasting Cap space for Lin? That's stupid. Why not resign Watson or Morrow?

  • @MichaelCastian you do realize how much Lin is getting paid, correct?

  • @itssmashtastic You realize we have a new owner, correct?.....one that isn't Chris Cohan?.....as in one who is willing to spend money?......I'm sure your confused, we havn't had that luxary in quite a while.

  • @MichaelCastian All because new owner is willing to spend money doesn't mean it's going to be on Lin. Look at his contract (what's been reported so far), only the first half of the season in guaranteed. He doesn't have an entire season that's guaranteed! We're spending fractions of pocket change on a piece of potential that could become a strong bench force.

  • @MichaelCastian O, but I do agree, resigning watson or morrow was more important. I was surprised how little we offered morrow. But I still fail to see how this signing was a waste.

  • @ChaoYRick Ok, Instead of me explaining why all the money we had should have been spent on Morrow and Watson, and Instead of explaining how we signed an exact replica of Reggie Williams (who we have signed for the entire next season), why don't I just ask some questions, what is so incredible about Jeremy Lin? What does he do that Morrow or Williams doesn't do. What is he bringing to the team that we don't already have? He's a waste of money because we already have Williams signed.

  • @MichaelCastian again, not a waste of money when you're practically not spending any at all. He'll might be sent to the D-league within the first week of the season for all we know. Based off his marketing value, he'll definitely bring GSW tons of revenue. If you call this signing a waste, you might as well start following D-league signings and calling those a waste. I don't understand why you're comparing him with Morrow/Watson contracts; compare him with Tolliver's 10 day contracts last season

  • @ChaoYRick Ok, so assuming he'll be sent to the D-League or released or whatever within his contract......why even sign him? Nothing here makes sense, you explained signing him as if to say If you had 3 quarters in your pocket and you throw them away, it's not a waste because it's barely anything. If he's unimportant, unnecessary and not final than why sign him at all? That's just retarded.

  • @MichaelCastian i was skeptical about him too last month cuz he played at harvard, from what ive heard over the past month he has a high basketball IQ, makes good passes, doesnt force , good height, isnt a defensive liabilty..were signing him for less than it wouldve taken to keep watson and he can do pretty much what watson could. i am also upset at our recent trades, as seen in the last gsw post (summer league highlight reel) and we used to be clogged in the backcourt now he fills a need

  • @lilownz141 the warriors didnt really need anymore scoring, and since morrow can play defense for crap, they wanted to sign a guy who could play defense

  • Comment removed

  • @lilownz141 i mean can't

  • @MichaelCastian We obviously need depth right now in the backcourt due to our retarded decision of not resigning Morrow. This guy has lots of potential, plays in the backcourt, solid player, solid defense, and we get him practically for free. If Morrow sucked when we first got him, would people have considered him a waste? Of course not, he was undrafted pocket change.

  • @MichaelCastian ok 1. he is young he can learn, 2. do you know how hard it is to lead harvard ? they are an ivy league team and therefore he didnt have many good players to work with like those other programmes. 3. he completely is a defensive beast, always hustle and a very high basketball IQ. 4.He puts in solid numbers on his plays and he is good in the clutch when he was in university. Give him props man, he really proved himself a the summer league, and destroyed John Wall in a game

  • @MichaelCastian he is not getting paid diddly squat, less than most of the players in the NBA, all because he is asian, look how tough he has had it, and even with all that he was able to prove himself in the summer league. He deserves to be here more than any other rookie

  • i love the new owner

  • i love being a warrior fan...(sarcasm)

  • Comment removed

  • @MichaelCastian why, cause hes asian??? racist.

  • @MAPLEbruh415 Your an immature shithead.

  • @MichaelCastian huh?? what you say? i dont understand RACIST!!!

  • @MichaelCastian are you serious...? GTFO

  • @MichaelCastian what is your problem with him? he is way more exciting than Cj watson and way more hustle and numbers than most players. He is going to be an exciting player in the NBa just watch, dont make the same mistake as the draft people made and not choosing him just because he is asian, im a chicago fan, but i am so excited to see Jeremy Lin join, he deserves to be here, go see his highlights, he is truly a good young player who can learn

  • @nikz200 Alright fine. Let Kobe here, dominate the season for us and let's reserve a spot on the shelf for that Championship we're gonna win next season with him leading us the whole way. Screw Stephan Curry when we can have this guy. Might as well just waive him, too, to save money to give to Jeremy since he already seems to deserve it. Oh, and yes, I am SOOOO racist. I'm glad I live in SAN FRANCISCO where we racists don't have to worry about MINORITIES. Watch out Derrick Rose and D-Will!

  • @MichaelCastian lol, ok dude, i just want to hear, what is it you dont like about Lin? what is it that makes you think he doesnt deserve to play NBA baskteball, i just want to see your point of view here..

  • I didn't say he sucks. I think he's a good player. I never said he doesn't deserve to play in the NBA, because he does. But for a rebuilding process like the Warriors are going through he isn't necessesary. We have 4 solid guards under full contracts. We're not getting anything new with him. He can't do anything that the 4 guards we already have can't do. Excuse me for being a little unpleased that Riley decided to not pay Morrow and pick up Lin instead. We got the next best thing for no reason.

  • this is gonna be a good season for the dubs!

  • now i really cant wait for the season to start!

  • now i really cant wait for the season to start!

  • Warriors!!!!!!!!!

  • Warriors!!!!!!!!!

  • its good to have more asian players in the nba

hope you have a great career with us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
