i have the same rig as you ntel P4 3.0 GHZ (single core) , 2 GB DDRAM 2 , ATI HD 2600 XT (512 MB). But i only have 15-20 fps everything on medium no AA 800 x 600. Strange lol.
Keep everything on low especialy shadows and you can go for High textures and Medium shaders ! Your game will still look verry good on these setting and you can also use MEdium for water quality. ;)
Belive the other things on your specs using them on medium will only slow you down alot :P
Pff so hard to tell i got new PC.. When i did this video i had intel P4 3.0 GHZ (single core) , 2 GB DDRAM 2 , ATI HD 2600 XT and FPS was good enough to finish this game without problems :) As long as i didnt get to high with detalies ^^
Off topic : Now i got intel E8500 / Ati HD 3870 / 2 GB DDRAM @ 1066 mhz and it rocks in Crysis xD
