Flashdance was a movie that when it came out it rocked the dance world on its ear! I liked this opening dance because it was really unusual. Of course I love dance and ballet and the dances in this movie were the best!!! I thank Lilth for posting here on UTube. Its well worth watching again!!!

The end and most of the dancing scene are made by french dancer double Marine Jahan. The final scene was made by three different dancer : Marine Jahan, another one who did the salto, and a black dancer who did the break on the floor. The way the scenes are filmed and cut is a clue : we never see the face of the dancer, hidden by the hair. and Marine is taller, more thin and more souple than Jennifer.
