Most good larger PA speakers will have no real issues outstretching car subwoofers. Car subs rated at 500 watts etc... are usually no more than around 50 watts when measured in the same way as PA kit.
what sort of amp are you running these with? if you want your speakers to last longer i suggest buying some dedicated subwoofers they'll sound much better

Uhh i do that with 1x12" Subwoofer. But at these crap build american houses thats normal. Do it on a German house and your Basses are sucked xD
