Fair play Jake. I'm sorry about your friend, I can understand how hard it is to lose someone you're that close to, especially in a tragic way. You looked very sharp in your suit and you're an excellent public speaker. Best to you in your journeys.

great speech. Made me a little teary. And if it helps at all I am still friends with some of the people I graduated with  and even some from primary school, so you will have no trouble keeping in touch with all the tech out there..just remember to keep moving forward...you will be fine :)

this touched me quite a lot! for several reasons: i'm graduating in two weeks time myself and tomorrow is my last oral exam but the main reason why this actually made me sad is cause my best friend failed her exams and won't graduate with me. but good for you that you did and that really was a nice speach

You know, in America, death is the #2 most feared thing and public speaking is #1. That means at a funeral, most people would rather be the guy in the casket than the guy reading the eulogy! Congrats.
