  • I was driving on 95 by Ft Lauderdale/Hollywood Intl when a 737 aborted a landing because of extremely bad weather like less than 20ft visibility, for those who don't know that airports approach goes like 50ft above a freeway, the wheels almost touch your hood :D

  • Gear doors open, that little propellor thing behind the gear, flaps extended to take-off-position... I think this was a test.

  • There was a problem with pretty much ALL the landing gear doors.

  • this engine GE90-110B????

  • @laazzer85 :) sisi dovrebbe essere il 110B (77F)

  • the problem is clearly the fron landing gear was illuminating a non-locked position.. meaning it wasn't in the locked position ,, the front landing gear has two doors, the front one should have closed after they put the gear down.. they were to diagnose the problem and come in for another approach.

  • @afgrocks123

Well spotted, the front doors are in fact still open. I agree that has most likely been the reason for them to go around.

  • @xVerteXx Yup :) Thank God a serious person agreed, or else everyone else would say the cause is the pilot seeing his ex :S LMAO

  • @afgrocks123

I'm really into planes and I just find it remarkable that you noticed the problem with the doors, I wouldn't have seen it myself if you had not mentioned that ;)

  • @xVerteXx hehe, Me too! i was, am and will be into planes,, that's why i decided to become a pilot.. and thanks to GOD, I AM! If you want to become a pilot,, go for it.. especially when you are into it,, you will ace everything.. at first i wa scared i wouldnt pass the exams,, but to be honest,, everything was even easier than school haha.. LOVE AIR! ;)

  • @afgrocks123

I really want to become a pilot and the exams are not the thing which scares me. I have already teached myself many things in flight simulator, but my eyes may get in the way of becoming a real pilot, because I have a slight green deficiency. I'm going to have that deficiency checked out by taking a beyne lantern test in some weeks, if I pass the lantern test I will definitely apply to Lufthansa.

  • @xVerteXx OMG, I had the exacy same story as you.. trained myself in FS2004 and FSX.. with a help of my dad who is a cheif pilot in a Dubai based airline.. I accomplished my goal.. and dont worry, almost everything is curable nowadays.. try doing the "ishihara" tests on google or something, see if you can pass them, P.S. for the first class med certificato.. you don't have to be 100% perfect.. also if you dont get a first,, with a second , you can always be a first officer,, GOOD LUCK

  • copilot:nice day huh

    captain: yeah

copilot: whose that girl over their ?

captain: shit thats my ex! move out !

    GO GO GOI!

  • low pass test flight

  • Test flight guys

  • 0:00 u cn c the door open for the landing gears

  • Pilot: Im gonna land this plane

Tower: Your wife is waiting here

    Pilot: Oh Shit, im off!!!!!!!!!!

    Tower: Shes pissed

    Pilot: PEACE OUT SUCKERS!!!!!!!!

  • @Khalidayoubi12 yeah something similar was already done in the top comments.

  • @AreaQNH870 but it is still funny XD

  • I can wait for better weather so I can get some more video at the airport.

  • lovely noise at 0:08 , is that what they call a spool up lol!

  • 100, 50, 40 waaiit this is the wrong arport *full trust*

  • @idrissboulie you are not fun

  • Tower: Your wife is here.

    Pilot: Thats it, im off ! ! ! ! !

  • @AustrianMusicFan you are not fun

  • @Pvjinflight Thanx... :(

  • slats & flaps at Zero!!

  • looks like an emergercy landing gear extend test in progress

  • Thats boeing field. So it was more than likely a test flight and planned go around

  • gear extend and door open ???

  • sike! not happening!

  • Actually i think he aborted it because he didn´t know what "minimums" means in french...

  • Does anyone noticed that the landing gear doors are down? Very unusual...

  • @apa182 this is a test flight

  • @mogulkahn23 no its not. its a partial gear failure

  • @apa182 probably the reason why he did the go-around

  • @apa182 I know. No is is talking about it, I thought I was the only one who saw it. I guess that why the pilot aborted the landing. Mishap.

  • @apa182 maybe thats why a go around was performed?

  • In Russia, landing aborts airplane

  • It's a test flight, standard low approach go-around procedure, now piss off noobs

  • The pilot was informed at the last minute that his wife was at the airport

  • Pilot saw his EX . lmao

  • @FirstFlight271 best comment ever!!!! LOL

  • @yoyoyoyoshua lmao ,

  • @FirstFlight271 you are not fun

  • @FirstFlight271 I don't know man. Had she been on the runway, he probably would've made sure to touch down and run her ass over! lolol

  • Test flight, gear doors open and RAT out

  • Really people? Look, his landing gear doors were open and if you pause at 0:08 you see a little door behind the main gear. It was a test flight and he was supposed to abort it.

  • Landing too far down runway, not enough space for roll-out?

  • the comments for aborted landings make me laugh everytime

  • plane: this is air france requesting permission to land

tower: you are cleared for landing

    plane: roger

tower: btw your wife called did you get the croissants?

    plane: o shit

  • @WarHorse21 chuck was norris washitting because the ge90's were so awesome

  • @WarHorse21 That's lol.

  • @WarHorse21 you are not fun

  • @Pvjinflight Your face is not fun, shove it up your ass

  • @cfhfhbg Thats not fun

  • @WarHorse21 omg hehehehehe nice one

  • He probably forgot his wallet!

  • Test flight, testing alertnate hydraulics. Probably why the gear doors are down and the RAT is out.

  • you can hear the engine being put to full power

  • Fuck your runway!

  • @sashman3988 Its a boeing 777

  • @ImperialUprising You're a boeing 777.

  • That's at Boeing Field, routine test flights include many go-arounds, including testing various systems, would explain why the gear doors were open

  • @CO27 Paine Field, not Boeing Field.

  • @bassbonebobo Ta for the correction, my bad

  • I wonder if it had something to do with the main gear doors still being open?

  • hahaha good one Armydude!

  • boring.

  • @gregrutz Then don't watch it you FLYING FUCK!!!!!!!!!

  • @matthmatthmatth FUCK YOU ASSHOLE

  • damm it , i fogot to turn off stove

  • Why was it aborted? That was a textbook landing he was about to have. Was there priority traffic that had to land or maybe two planes going for the same runway a bit too close?

  • Gotta love the absolute POWER that the 777 has!

  • @woodymmbbrr Yeah, but I wouldnt want to get on one with the Trent 800 engines. The GEs are so much more reliable. Plus how many airplanes can say they have never had a single fatality. Accidents yes, deaths no. I love the Boeing 777!

  • in commercial planes they never abort a land in this way the aborting is much highier

  • Tower:Oh your wife is here she said shes pregnant.

    Pilot:Oh fuck.to mexico!

  • Fuck that would be scary.

  • 777?

  • @tiburcioman

    No doubt

  • This is at the Boeing test field in Seattle. They put the a/c through some final tests before delivery.

  • I guess his SINK RATE was too high

  • gear doors stay down, huh.

  • WTF???

  • Some body forgot their tampons LOL

  • what was wrong with the landing gear?

  • ATC: Hey, your wife called and asked if you got the eggs...

    PILOT: Oh DAMNIT!

  • Comment removed

  • @wkdstuffonly Actaully, its a test flight. Its a go-around with gear doors open on purpose.

  • @wkdstuffonly Uhhh no. Why would a pilot want to make a hard landing to get the landing gear down.....

  • Its amazing that planes theese days have the power to abort landings such as this one, i myself have been on a plane when it has aborted a landing and its not fun. The piolet was given the wrong runway to land on at sydney airport and had to abort the landing because another plane was pulling out onto the runway, luckily we were at about 200 feet when the piolet aborted so we were ok, but a little lower and i think it could have been much worse.

  • Didn't read the comments, but this is part of the certification. The gear doors are open, so he made a gravity drop of the gear.

  • Fake

  • why did it abort landing?

  • @gentkvm In theory it would not be landed. He madea low pass on the track. How can you 'note had problems with the cart, it was lowered to 9 / 10 and the roof of the truck had stopped. He madethe move to show your authority (fire servizioni airport) as was the situation, that showed people who were on the ground if he could land in that state or the cart was put in a bad situation. Got it?

  • Oh shi....

  • 777 is great

  • I see the landing gear doors were still open.... Good quick reactions on the pilot.

  • 'sweet... I love this adrenaline!

  • OMFG ! 0_0

  • Shit forgot my wallet. Were gonna go get my wallet

  • im on the other way around..

  • wow thats a 777 those engines are huge.

  • I can just feel myself levitating above the seat! ^_^

  • Not an aborted landing. The pilot was asleep at the wheel and woke up just seconds before impact.

  • Captains says just before landing... F**K! I forgot my laundry!!!!

  • In Soviet Russia airports you

  • not an abiorted leanding at all.........part of the testing programme prior to delivery of new airliner to airline..

  • shit wrong airport

  • We are now approaching the airport... On second thoughts were of to america ;)

  • Sick of these Chuck Norris jokes. Their old, please piss off posting them -.-

  • @AndyJay15 Quick, delete your comment before Chuck sees it!

  • Oleeee !

  • Shit wrong airport!

  • @Armydude468 Quality ! hahaha!

  • That's what I call a flybye :D

  • Sorry to be precise but this technically isn't an aborted landing. This is a low-approach go around, it's a procedure they use on test flights of the new aircraft.

  • @ralstonjack

I don't know anything about landings but this seems like an aborted landing, what would a real aborted landing look?

  • You know I was thinking why those people bother standing there looking at planes landing. How boring. But then I am sitting here watching it on youtube and I'm sure it's better to watching it there instead of on youtube.

  • @realisticHomeboy its a fun way to pass time

  • pilot to self: whoops wrong airport !!!!!lol

  • yes they also have paine field in fs 2004 training to fly 737-400.

  • Chuck Norris was on the runway and the plane nor the pilot wanted any trouble

  • @HandbagMafia hahahahhaha xD

  • oh that sound!

  • lol... clearly empty

  • Troll airplane.

  • Its test flight or line training

  • In the first 5 seconds or so of this video, the 777 sounded like a 707 with JT3C engines approaching before it punched the throttle and started to climb.

  • maybe it was the wrong airport and place

  • Ah the power!

  • gear doors down?

  • @Aviationnation10 even if he was doing a training exercise, the gear has to be down below a certain altitude for safety...and the computer starts to yell at you!

  • @bajesus666 not for training u can turn off the warnning

  • @Aviationnation10 yeah why are the gear doors down?? weird. did you have a radio receiver at the time? did you hear why the landing was aborted?

  • @TheGimpMaster01 i live in ireland not seattle lol

  • why?

  • Must had the wrong airport :P

  • When the Machines gettin off, it sounds soo frightening !

  • why isnt the back gears doors shut :S ???

  • @Pakanin

since he wasnt landing i am pretty sure he didnt lock the gear. i am not sure how it works on boeing 777. i only fly the airbus 320 family

  • @LufthansaA343 Okej. well i just wanted to ask :) Are you flying for Lufthansa ? :)

  • @Pakanin

    yes i fly for Lufthansa.

  • I LOVE 777

  • ''alryt evrybody we're now landin in hawaii......holy shit this is the same place we started!"

  • I wonder why the gear doors where open... That's not part of the flight training is it?

  • @osjcag good point, that was odd indeed. those main doors are only open during transistion of the gear. Also I am pretty sure that is not something that is even NORMALLY controlled from within the flightdeck. I imagine you could pull a curcuit breaker though. Don't see why ya would...

  • Umm what's the reason for aborting here. Nobody's on the runway.

  • I know why that plane didn't land because there was doors left open

  • Why didn't he/she land? Seemed fine to me.

  • Shear POWER

  • why were the gear doors open??? they aren't supposed to be

  • @futurepilot2394 Boeing Assembly Factory is located at this spot, this is where their production line is etc so this would of been a test flight. On the 787's first ever flight, she landed with the gear doors down. Planes have an "alternative gear configuration" setting and it doesn't necessarily mean there is something wrong with the aircraft.

  • @SMA380 oooh ok.thanx

  • @futurepilot2394 yeah I thought so to.

  • Dude, when you hea rhes speeding up thats so scary !

  • The landing gear

  • its not aborted, he could have easily landed it, i think it was maneuver training.

  • @shariotoflove The plane looks a bit too fast to make a landing.

  • the gear doors are still open!!

  • Lol i had the same in summer 2009 in Antalya Turkey, damn that was weird :P and then you dont know what is happening

  • Looks like a test. Looked like the flaps were not all the way down.
