  • This movie is a work of art. Not perfect. But in terms of romantic drama vampire classic it comes pretty darn close. Bravo Francis Ford Coppola. They don't make 'em like this anymore.

  • You know as good as this scene is (the rest of the movie is sort of a letdown given how much it promised as an accurate version of the novel goes), I can't really buy the reason he becomes a vampire. If a guy just lost his wife and freaked because of one dumb priest opening his big mouth, I figure God would consider that he's probably going to want to take it back. If it's this easy to become a vampire, the world should be full of them given the fact people will blame God for all their problems.

  • the only really good part of the film. the rest was far too campy

  • allways the same..

  • GOD I LOVE this scene!

The brutal music in the backround, you can almost feel the horror and fear you would've fealt when going to the furious battles.

The darkness of the day describing cold heartedness.... this is brutal, I love it, the blood, the mercylessness the luciferianism.... some say vlad truly HAD satan inside in him, aswell as so many other world leaders no days, they are all in the same family tree influencing the masses...

  • I keep the letterboxed laserdisc edition and it really sounds spooky.... i wouldn't even bother to buy de BD of the movie!!!

  • my fauvorite horror! and best music from Wojciech Kilar!

  • If Dracula was leader of the Romanian forces, why is he on foot and not on horseback?

  • @noonereadsthesenames it´s a fucking movie!!!!

  • The annoying priest is Anthony Hopkins!

  • Toda la tonelada de basura de Crepusculo no le llega ni a la suela del zapato a la secuencia inicial de esta película...

  • where di the blood come from

  • The silhouette battle sequence is a masterpiece of film assembly.

  • @44excalibur Look, you're right and I apologize for my verbal actions. I love this film as much as you do probably. I've been into Dracula movies for a long time, the one and only vampire movie I can't stand is Twilight. lOl

  • @DABS139 It's okay. I'm not really a fan of this movie, but I"m not against anyone else liking it either. I'm a big fan of the novel and I was a little miffed at Coppola for the extreme changes he made to the story, so that's why my earlier comments were so critical. I'm more a fan of the 1977 BBC version and the Hammer films. But I decided to stop commenting and let people just enjoy the vid. Yeah, you're right about Twilight. I apologize for my harsh comments as well. Take care!

  • Serious love 4 this film.

  • What was that priest THINKING?!! He unleashed a fucking... eternal demon of the UN-DEAD on the world!!!

That was SO not the right time or place to tell him that she's going to Hell. Your man Dracula is in a difficult place right now man; his girlfriend just bumped herself off. He needs time. Give him some space for a few weeks and then maybe bring up the whole eternal damnation thing but fucking SUBTLY dude.

  • @JVbin In the guy's defence, how could he have known that Drakula would react in THAT manner?

If someone dies, you don't tend to think that their lovers will sell their souls to live forever as a vampire...

  • @MarcusSLazarus Come on. He KNEW that Vlad had a short fuse. I mean, he was a great guy, defeating the Ottomans and everything, but you don't get that much talent in life without having a few minor flaws. Whether or not he was aware Vlad would snap & opt to become a vampiric overlord of the Un-Dead, that priest in any event should have:

    i) had a sense of fucking decorum

& ii) been more sensitive to the fact that Vlad has a short temper at the best of times. :-(

  • @JVbin I never disagreed with the idea that showing some subtlty would have been better in this scenario; I just meant that nobody could have predicted that Dracula would react THAT badly or in that manner

  • @JVbin Vlad Tepes was a feudal Bin Laden , he was no hero but a monster .

  • @davazno1 Dude, Vlad's girlfriend just did herself in. Give the guy a break. :-(

  • Hehe , i was talking about the real Vlad , not Gary Oldman.

  • @JVbin hahahahaha!!

  • This world is not big enough for vampire wannabes, sorry Twilight fans. There is one vampire out there and he is Romanian whether you like it or not. So piss off with your whinny vampire love story, it has nothing on the count's story or Vlad Tepes, the real life character Dracula is based on.

  • @lotsofcooki3s That's cause you don't know Scrubs "Dr. Acula."

  • @lotsofcooki3s Bram Stoker,,,one and only,,,great comment you made, agree 100%.

  • :47 or :48 fart sound!!!!

  • the romanian accent sucks, I'm from Romania and I do not understand at the end nothing

  • @PhoenixTheCrimson I think they're speaking Latin....

  • Dla mnie to opowieść o szaleńczej miłości. Bardzo niebezpiecznej. Takiej o jakiej chyba wszyscy marzymy. Do samego końca.

  • @Boodhunnilesh

    Too right you are!

  • "I renounce God! I shall rise from my own death to avenge hers with all the powers of darkness"

Now that is a vow. If you are going to make a vow, oath or affirmation, to do, or become something, make sure you really mean it, want it, and be prepared to work to achieve that what you want. The power of your emotion carries the intention to materialisation.

  • @jonahmack You´re right. It is the principal element of magick. In my country we say "Care with your prayers. You can be serviced". Hugs from Brazil.

  • muito bommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • Bottom line: book "Dracula" by Bram Stoker is the greatest pulp/trashy novel ever written, period. It makes today's romance novels look lame. It was innovative, it had a hint of science fiction, it was "modern" (with the use of the typewriter, Kodak box camera, Edison Phonograph) and oozed with Victorian sensuality. The word "kiss" is used as a substitute for "sex" in it's most literal terms. It is one of the books you want to have with you on a Desert Island.... along with Huckleberry Finn.

  • no i have the regular dvd that shows a face statue of a beast you probably seen that poster before

  • PEOPLE WHO ARE READING THIS, IF YOU WANT @44exalibur TO LEAVE DRACULA ALONE JUST TRY TO HELP FLAG HIM AS A SPAM SO HE WON'T COMPLAIN! THUMBS UP IF U AGREE!

    THANK U!

  • @halloweenfriday And btw, you've followed me to other vids too, I've noticed. You're not the youtube police. People are free to post anywhere they want to and speak their mind freely. If you make a vid then you can block me from commenting on it, but you can't expect anyone to "flag" me just because you say so. I settled things with us earlier, so just leave it at that, okay? As for calling me a brat, I'm not the one typing in all caps and ordering people off vids. Good day.

  • @44excalibur 1st of all i'm not following u on purpose 2nd of all Hammer and Universal put in Bram Stoker's name to have their rights just like Coppola 3rd of all i thought it was wrong to get in your way with @BibleJoker2Face and i'm sorry 4th of all you knock it off for judging the movie for how it was. when i read your comments i thought it was stupid and idiotic for judging a movie u hate.

  • @44excalibur if there's something u hate do not talk about it or think about it and i know its free for people to comment what they want but the smartest thing to do if u hate something is not to talk about it at all. what if somebody wanted to see that movie and wanted to know whats good? huh? seriously leave it the way it is. it's not gonna change

  • @halloweenfriday Dude, @BibleJoker2Face and I were not fighting, we were having a debate. Those things happen on an open forum. And if someone wants to see this movie then they will regardless of what they see on youtube. That's what independent thought and free will is. I only urge people to read the book and not accept this film as canon, which unfortunately I see a lot of on the internet. It's okay to like a move, it's another to rewrite literary history. It's nothing personal.

  • @44excalibur fighting is also a word for debate. fighting has 2 meanings. and i do believe in independent thoughts and free will. i just find it stupid to talk about a movie u don't like at all. i just want to tell u why people thought this movie was good. it was KINDA close to the novel except the dracula/mina romance. i love this movie so if its almost close to the novel and not like hammers and lugosi, then let it be called Bram Stoker's Dracula

  • @halloweenfriday Have you ever read the novel before? If not, read it and then come back and we'll have a discussion. And I'm sorry, but including a romance between Mina and Dracula changes the story so much that you really can't call it "Bram Stoker's" Dracula. It should be "Francis Coppola's" Dracula or "James V. Hart's" Dracula, since he wrote the screenplay. It's a "re-interpretation," not an adaptation. And if you think debating is the same as arguing then you've seen too much cable news.

  • @44excalibur i checked up my messages and found u apologizing to me. it is now accepted.

I owe u an apology for acting like a fool

  • @halloweenfriday No, it's okay, I'm passionate about the material cuz I'm a diehard fan and Jonathan/Mina shipper after having read the book. I'm glad you finally read my apology. Like I said, nothing personal. You take care!

  • @44excalibur You're a Jonathan/Mina shipper?? Yeah! I'm not alone in the world! ='D

Anyway, love this movie and the intro, through I didn't like the Dracula/Mina love story, don't kill me.

  • @KaoriDivaChan Of course you're not alone in the world! Jonathan/Mina are canon in the novel and that whole Dracula/Mina thing from the Coppola movie is not. :)

No, I'm not gonna kill you. lol It's not just because of the Dracula/Mina thing that I didn't care for this movie. To me it seemed overdone and it just wasn't scary like it should've been, and Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves were terribly miscast in their roles(especially Reeves). I actually prefer the Hammer Dracula movies to this one.

  • Oh my god I thought @44exalibur was done talking! Someone help us get him off these vids

  • 1:58 pwned

  • i love that part its my fAVORITE!!

  • Okay, NOW I'm closing my statement. And if you want to know the actual story, check out the audio graphic novel 'Dracula' narrated by Christopher Lee himself. It's on youtube.

  • @44excalibur thanks for closing your statement. you may like the books better than movies but i like to keep my opinion. there are people who agree with me and there are people who agree with u. however we have one thing in common... we don't like Frank Langella's dracula. anyway thanks for ending your statement and there may be a dracula movie that suits u. good evening sir or madame

  • @44exalibur thanKS for closing ur statement

  • In closing, this is all I will comment on this movie and on this vid. The original novel stands the test of time, and I hope one day someone makes a version that actually tells Stoker's story right. Someone has to stick up for Jonathan and Mina Harker as they actually were in the novel.

  • Oh, I remember when I watched this film in the theater, I fell in love with Gary Oldman. I haven't seen Bela Lugosi's Dracula, but I doubt his was better than Oldman's.

  • Great film! Check out Red Riding Hood Meets Frankenstein to see his appearance there.

  • can somebody PLEASE upload the deleted scenes of this wonderful movie AND the documentary that shows how Mr. Coppola achieved the visual effects in the movie?

  • What's happening to the paper at 3:36?

  • @ghfdfhfdndxhcg It's a cheap special effect. It's supposed to be the girl "falling" from when she jumped off the cliff.

  • @HipHopJun You mean out of the castle window, but thanks though.

  • thumb is up

  • thumbs up if u think @44excalibur should not comment about this

  • I HATE RATATOULLIE AND EVERYBODY LIKES THAT MOVIE. I NEVER COMMENT HOW BAD THE MOVIE WAS

  • @halloweenfriday You just did. ;)

  • @Radwar99 lol i did but i mean why it was awful. this movie however is 100% perfect

  • @halloweenfriday, this is the finest adaptation of the novel by Bram Stoker. It fleshes out Dracula, and makes him more human and less soul-less. great movie.

  • @BibleJoker2Face ur right and dracula can be evil 2. at least he's only a little romantic than twilight. if the whole movie was romantic it wouldn't be good. this movie is great because it mixes horror, suspense and romance. thats why all ladies and gentlemen love this movie. i love it 2! but twilight sucks

  • @BibleJoker2Face Sorry, but Bram Stoker never wrote any romance between Mina and Dracula, and how anyone can say this is the "finest adaptation" of his novel is ridiculous. It is totally unfaithful to Stoker's characters, themes, story, and makes a mockery of Jonathan and Mina's relationship in the novel, especially with Ryder and Reeves' dreadful acting. Watch the audio version of the graphic novel with Christopher Lee on youtube for the real story, not Copploa's self-indulgent art-house porn.

  • @44excalibur, to each his own. The movie is much better, as it fleshes out a line from the novel. "I too can love. You yourselves can tell that from the past, is it not so?" that's not developed further in the novel, but the movie provided a great backstory for Dracula.

  • @BibleJoker2Face that is true. dracula may be romantic but he's more evil 2 and that my friend makes it a great movie and not some faggy ass twilight flick

  • @halloweenfriday, I'm not a fan of Twilight, but i just saw the third movie, and i'm looking forward to the next one, but i'm not really into it. I like this film better.

  • @BibleJoker2Face Yes, I know that line from the novel, but Stoker never intended for it to be about Mina. And by adding the unnecessary romance between Mina and Dracula, this movie diminishes and disrespects Jonathan and Mina and misses the point of Stoker's story. The story is about Jonathan and Mina, not Dracula, and shows that difficulties and challenges can be overcome by everybody. Their letters to each other display a wide range of emotions. They face challenges, suffer, and yet surive.

  • @44excalibur, like i said...to each his own.

  • @BibleJoker2Face To each his own, but I'm going by actual canon. I can also quote from Stoker's novel, like the part where Jonathan Harker says, "if we find out that Mina must be a vampire in the end, then she shall not go into that unknown and terrible land alone. I suppose it is thus that in old times one vampire meant many.." Jonathan would willingly become a vampire himself rather than risk him and MIna losing each other. Funny how filmakers conveniently ignore the Jonathan/Mina stuff.

  • @44excalibur, that line is paraphrased in the movie, as "I will not let you go into the unknown alone." Several other lines from the novel are used in the movie.

  • @BibleJoker2Face Yes, but that line not used by Jonathan Harker about Mina in the movie and it was in the novel, and that's the point. The movie is disingenouous in the way it misportrays(or downplays) Jonathan and Mina's relationship and manufactures a romance between MIna and Dracula that has no basis for it in the novel. Coppola wants to make a romantic vampire movie then let him write his own story, but don't use Mina and don't call it "Bram Stoker's" Dracula because this is not his story.

  • @44excalibur, the paraphrase of the line is said by Jonathan to Mina. I personally enjoy the film, and think it's better than the novel; same for "Mary Shelley's Frankenstein" starring Kenneth Branagh (who also directed & produced the film, in addition to doing an uncredited rewrite on the script) and Academy Award winner Robert DeNiro. let's just agree to disagree.

  • @BibleJoker2Face Better than the novel? With Keanu and Winona's terrible acting, Anthony Hopkins over-the-top Van Helsing, and the Mina/Dracula love story that ruins the spirit of Bram Stoker's story? Okay we'll agree to disagree, but the movie only came out 18 years ago and was generally panned by critics, while the novel is a classic that has stood the test of time for a century and will no doubt be adapted again, perhaps more faithfully next time. History will be on my side.

  • @44excalibur, yes, and closer to the novel than the 1931 version. i personally don't think it ruined Stoker's story at all; au contraire, i think it ADDED to the story and made it much less boring. as for your calling it "Art house porn," think again. The movie actually received mixed reviews when it was released in 1992, but has now achieved a cult following (whatever that means), and it was won 3 Academy Awards.

  • @BibleJoker2Face Less boring? When this film lasts 100 years then you can say that. And how does stomping all over the Jonathan/Mina relationship that Stoker wrote and in fact ruining it in favor of manufacturing a Dracula/Mina relationship that's not even in the book at all "adding to the story"? It detracts from it. Ask the 'Twilight' fangirls how they would think if the movie had Bella falling in love with James the bad guy and made their precious Edward look like a fool? They'd be pissed.

  • @44excalibur, Dracula and Twilight are two different things. Based on books, yes. but that's where it ends. Dracula is a classic and Twilight is not (I say that with respect to any Twilight fans out there, because Twilight was not written 100 years ago). let's end it right here. you don't like the movie, i do. end of discussion.

  • @BibleJoker2Face Yes, you're right. Dracula is a classic and Twilight is not, which is exactly why Dracula's source material should be respected even more than Twilight's and not "altered' or "distorted." Twilight isn't a classic, but at least the filmakers told Stephanie Meyer's story faithfully. All I ask is that Bram Stoker be given the same respect. If not, then they can keep Stoker's name in the credits but not above the title because it's misleading. I'll end it there. Have a nice day.

  • @44excalibur, they had to put the author's name in the title because Universal owns the rights to the simple title "Dracula." Besides, Coppola always puts the author's name in the titles of his movies (ie. "<Mario Puz's The Godfather," etc). have a nice day.

  • @BibleJoker2Face No, the didn't "have to" do that at all. That was a choice by the filmakers, not a necessity. Francis Coppola's original title for the movie was simply going to be "D" okay? It should just be "based on" in the credits if it's not going to be Stoker's story. Have a nice day.

  • @BibleJoker2Face i apologize for being in your way with your fight w/@44exalibur. i hope u have a wonderful day

  • @halloweenfriday, that's okay. don't worry about it.

  • @BibleJoker2Face i think ur 100% right it is a very close adaption. there may be romance but its a great movie

  • @halloweenfriday, i agree, and i think the romance added to the story. in the novel, Dracula says, "I too can love. You yourselves can tell that from the past..." that line isn't explained further in the story. the movie did a great job of fleshing it out. It's also much closer to the story than the 1931 film (though that one is also a classic).

  • @BibleJoker2Face oh yea like they fleshed out lines from the 1931 movie too like when dracula says

    "I am...Dracula...and I bid you welcome" or "I never drink...wine"

  • @halloweenfriday, do you have the 2-Disc Collector's Edition of this movie? if so, can you please upload the deleted scenes and the documentary that shows how Mr. Coppola achieved the visual effects?

  • @BibleJoker2Face Hello again. Just so you know I'm not trying to argue, just offering some insight into the novel. That line you mentioned actually is explained somewhat later in the story, only the movie doesn't flesh it out the way Stoker intended. Remember that Stoker did not have a romance between Mina and Dracula, his romance was between Jonathan and Mina so you have to look at it from that context. When Dracula says that line the reader is seeing the story through Jonathan Harker's eyes,

  • @BibleJoker2Face Jonathan vows to destroy Dracula and, if he could, to send "his soul forever and ever to burning to hell!" even if it be at the cost of own soul. When confronted with Mina's curse, however, he is unsure how to react; Mina asks the others in the group to kill her if the need comes. While Harker says he would, in the privacy of his journal says that if it is necessary, that he would become a vampire himself out of his love for her. This relates to what he heard count say.

  • @BibleJoker2Face The lineDracula says to his brides is "Yes, I too can love; you yourselves can tell it from the past." Dracula says this regarding how he came to make them his brides. But after Dracula's attack on Mina, Jonathan resolves that "if we find out that Mina must be a vampire in the end, then she shall not go into that unknown and terrible land alone. I suppose it is thus that in old times one vampire meant many..the holiest love was the recruiting sergeant for their ghastly ranks."

  • @BibleJoker2Face Since Stoker's vampires often apply the word "kiss" to their bloodthirsty advances. Dracula's claim to "love" remains ambiguous. But the story is not told through Dracula's eyes, it's told through the eyes of the human characters, primarily Jonathan and Mina. In this context, it implies that Jonathan holds out hope that even if Mina becomes a vampire that their love can still survive if he becomes one himself. This is the contex I believe Stoker intended as a way of --

  • @BibleJoker2Face -- devotion and self sacrifice that the characters of Jonathn and Mina Harker display for each other in Stoker's novel. That is the romantic storyline that Stoker intended to tell, after all. The different "adaptations," "reinterpretations," or "distortions" of Stoker's novel say more about the people doing the adapting than about the novel and the characters themselves, especially Jonathana and Mina, who always seem to be misinterpreted, misused, and misrepresented in movies.

  • @44excalibur oh wait... i saw christopher lee's dracula (1958) it was reaaaly different but i thought it was good. so if u r going to keep complaining about the differences everybody will think ur a book dork and a brat. SO STOP COMPLAINING!

  • @halloweenfriday Oh, knock it off, @halloweenfriday. First, I had already left these vids long a time ago until you sent me your first comment which brought me back here. If you don't want a reply, don't leave a comment, ok? Second, the Christopher Lee movie and the Bela Lugosi movie didn't advertise themselves as "Bram Stoker's" Dracula and then change the whole story, they just said "based on." Third, this was a conversation between me @BibleJoker2Face, and him and I are done talking now.

  • @BibleJoker2Face And no, this film was not closer to the novel. You add a Mina/Dracula romance and you're deviating waaaay off the novel. And the 3 Academy awards this film won were all technical awards. It recieved no recognition for acting, writing, or directing.

  • @44excalibur i thought u were done with ur statement! and another thing... this movie recieved good reviews from critics. i had mixed feelings about reeves but this is one damn good movie. its my favorite

  • @halloweenfriday What's wrong with ratatoullie?? I thought it had a great message. You don't believe anyone can be a great chef if they work hard enough?

  • @HipHopJun i believe anyone could be a great chef. its called having an opinion

  • @halloweenfriday Right. And there's a little thing called backing up your opinion. Just yelling out "OMG THIS MOVIE SUCKS" doesn't mean shit and just makes you sound like a kid...

  • @HipHopJun hey buddy i'm only making an opinion i'm more of a horror and comedy movie fan than disney i think its fine that u like it and i'm going to keep my opinion because opinions don't matter to anyone u got that?

  • @halloweenfriday If they don't matter to anyone then why did you waste your time commenting about it? That movie has nothing to do with Dracula...

And im not your "buddy", guy.

  • @HipHopJun i know that i was telling 44exalibur that people if someone hates a movie they shouldn't care if anyone else likes it...

And i'm not your "guy" friend

  • HELP FLAG 44exalibur as a spam people care about the differences but they think its still a good movie

  • i know that...but if i'm just trying to give you advice if you hate it don't comment about it its as simple as that

  • look i saw it and this movie and its kinda alike. just get out of this video for gods sake thats all im asking am i speaking spanish? :P

  • @halloweenfriday And you didn't see he 1977 version at all! Seeing one clip is not the same as seeing the whole movie. The BBC version is much closer to the book than this film is.

  • @44excalibur i saw 5 clips btw but i didn't say i saw the whole bbc version. just take my advice IF U HATE A MOVIE DON'T COMMENT ABOUT IT okay? its all i'm saying.

  • @halloweenfriday If there are people who like this movie, but are still able to make a distiction between this move and the novel and understand this is not Bram Stoker's story at all, and Jonathan and Mina are nothing like the way they are inaccurately depicted in this film, then that's okay. But when anyone starts taking this movie as gospel and assuming that this is the actual story, them I am certainly going to comment, because it seems no one on youtube reads books at all.

  • UP WITH DRACULA DOWN WITH TWILIGHT

  • @halloweenfriday Another tantrum from the little boy. The more you rant and yell and curse, the dumber and crazier you seem. Yes you're 15, so I should go easy on you. The Bela Lugosi movie wasn't based on the book, it was based on the stage play and didn't pretend to be Bram Stoker's story at all. I read Dracula three times when I was 15 and I love it, and I hate seeing Coppola ruin the story and the characters I grew to love. You have never read the book and don't know anything.

  • @44excalibur listen egghead i may get angry but i'm not crazy or dumb. oh btw i saw a clip of 1977 dracula and its the same as this one. the part where he bites mina and sucks dracula's blood. so i should say that this is closer to the novel and the 1977 movie. now just don't bother commenting on a movie you hate. if u hate it leave it alone. now get outta here. haters suck like u

  • @halloweenfriday Sorry, but that scene you're talking about is the one part of the 1977 version that isn't like the book. In the book, Dracula breaks into Mina and Jonathan's bedroom and forces Mina to drink his blood by threatening to kill Jonathan right in front of her if she doesn't do as he says. It's a rape scene, there's nothing romantic about it at all. But the rest of the 177 version stuck pretty close to the book, much closer than Coppola's softcore porn movie. You don't know anything.

  • Respond to this video...don't call me dumb again

  • @halloweenfriday And since this is an open forum, I'll continue to voice my opinions about how much this movie got wrong, since free speech is allowed. I certainly won't be forced off a vid by a 15 year old who hasn't read the book, doesn't read much at all, and doesn't know what he's talking about.

  • HELP ME GET @44excalibur OFF THIS VIDEO. HE IS COMPLETELY RETARDED FOR MAKING BAD COMMENTS OF THIS MOVIE!!!! THUMBS UP IF U AGREE!!!

  • best dracula movie ever eat ur damn heart out other movies cant ever be like this one

  • @km45angel thank u for being on my side. ur right other movies can't be the same

  • @km45angel Worst Dracula movie ever. I've read the book 3 times and know what the actual story is, and this movie doesn't come close. At least those other Dracula movies didn't try to call themselves 'Bram Stoker's Dracula' and then get the story totally wrong. This movie is the complete opposite of Stoker's novel. The Bela Lugosi movie was the best. It wasn't faithful to the novel, but that's because it was based on the stage play. The 1977 BBC version of 'Dracula' is closest to the book.

  • Respond to this video... RETARD IF U HATE IT GET OFF OF THIS VIDEO. I THINK UR A RETARD GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE!

  • @thommo316 sorry about us 2 fighting

  • @thommo316 i thank u for posting this. i get angry a lot with dumbasses who comment bad things about the movie. if they hate it leave it alone its simple

  • @vermilionskin don't listen to him this is a real vampire movie. it has LESS romance and MORE horror, blood, and gore

  • I LOVE THIS MOVIE BECAUSE IT HAS LESS ROMANCE THAN TWILIGHT AND ITS FREAKING CREEPY. THIS IS AMAZING. AND HELP US GET @44exalibur OUT OF HERE! thanks for posting this video

  • to the people who say it sucks, lets see u make a damn good vampire movie

  • @diaryofriky ru gay or something Dracula is GOD

  • my favorite movie. twilight sucks. dracula can kick edward's ass any time of the day. we need to make vamp movies

  • my favorite movie. twilight sucks. dracula can kick edward's ass any time of the day

  • EPIC

  • Beautiful..... gart oldman is the best Dracula, ever!!!!!!!!!!! has there been a better portrayal???? no

  • @Victorcorpsebride you know what's funny..years later he plays a supporting role in a movie that has to with bats..(batman begins and Dark Knight)

  • oh fuck !

  • the music gets me every time

  • The real Vlad was much worse than Stoker made him in the novel--

  • I made a dark folk-rock Dylanesque tribute to Count Vlad the Impaler aka Dracula (including Pieter Brueghel and Hieronymus Bosch). It's called "Don't Cross the River" referencing the river Danube. It's on the video response

Or you can check it out on my channel. Thanks! :)

  • @storm61 you are a sad worm indeed.

  • That Armour is fucking awesome!

    Gary Oldman is fucking Awesome

  • This intro is amazing,it gives the back story and lets you get comfortable with the character. This is the ultimate vampire movie.

  • i have seen richard E grant in richmond .

  • THE BLOOD IS THE LIFE!!! This is a FANTASTIC movie, and one of my favorite intros of all time. The waterfall of blood spilling from the cross is so amazingly disturbing.

  • about the movie...it is a masterpiece...i really like that movie...they speak romanian...but they are speaking very bad romanian...for me it's hard to understand what they are saying even if i am a romanian ....

  • 5:19 "Translation: IT'S OVER 9000!"

A great scene and movie though. :)

  • my favorite film

  • This is the true vamp story we all fell in love with.... everything followed or written after was and is crap. This movie is epic and amazing... one of Coppola's masterpieces... and let's not forget how great Gary Oldman did in that movie...

  • @vermilionskin This is not the vamp story I fell in love with at all. I grew up reading 'Dracula' three times and this is not Bram Stoker's story at all. There is not supposed to be any sappy love story between Mina and Dracula; she's only in love with Jonathan in the novel. 'Dracula' is supposed to be a horror story, not 'Twilight.'

  • @44excalibur DUMBASS IT IS HORROR. THE MOVIE HAS LESS ROMANCE. WATCH TWILIGHT THAT MOVIE WAS FULL OF ROMANCE

  • This is the true vamp story we all fell in love with.... everything followed or written after was and is crap. This movie is epic and amazing... one of Coppola's masterpieces...

  • this is the best love story ever, a man gives his soul for his beloved wife

  • vlad tepes also known as dracula ruled walachia not transylvania!

  • i dont know why i laughed so hard.

  • Nothing less than a masterpiece.

  • The Best Dracula Movie ever!!!

  • I met the man once in Napoli, Italy. All of my fellow americans were asking him about THE GODFATHER, THE GODFATHER. (scuffs) Not to many people know that he directed this movie. I say this is his most Stylistic work to date.

This is one of the few movies that I cant watch over and over, its just done to perfection.

  • One of the best intro ever... and the music is so dark and powerful

  • Religion. Killing more people then everything else combied times 50 sense before you can even imagine.

  • Is that Romanian they are speaking? Some archaic version of it?
