The word "nappy" was not used, the wrist was not broken, the girl had thrown the cake on the floor, slapped a female security guard, hit the male security guard, the student taking the cell phone video made threats and racial insults torward the security guards (not all of which were white) the mother came on to campus without administration's knowledge (which is remarkable in itself considering she works at a school herself) and the other girl tried to attack another security guard as well.

In general, I don't like them, no disrespect to those that are good, and honors their position. The word "nappy" was not used, the wrist was not broken, the girl had thrown the cake on the floor, slapped a female security guard, hit the male security guard, the student taking the cell phone video made threats and racial insults torward the security guards (not all of which were white) the mother came on to campus without administration's knowledge (which is remarkable in itself considering she works at a school herself) and the other girl tried to attack another security guard as well.

Actually, malletdiva02 - Draksane is correct in his information. All of this information was published in the local paper (Valley Press), who actually has reporters on the scene to investigate the story, unlike the national news media.
Don't feel too bad, though, you aren't the first one to be given the 'mushroom treatment' by the national media. When things come to light later that contradicts their previous report, they don't usually report it.

As this story has unfolded in the local news who actually have reporters at the scene for a significant investigation of the situation (unlike the national media hyperbolizers); it turns out that the girl and her mother lied, there were NO injuries; the girl physically assaulted the school personnel; the mother was arrested by the Sheriff's Deputies when she attacked the vice-principal in their presence; and the Security Officer acted completely correctly under the circumstances.

some comments ive got from black folks online only show how scared they are. one person said that you "might go to jail" or get "beat down" if you try to defend your family. they dont even relize how cowardly those statements are. MLK went to jail--FOR FIGHTING FOR HIS RIGHTS!!! too many blacks are scared to fight for justice, they have become comfortable "house negroes" mad at the few "field negroes" who still fight for whats right.

that's why i call them out for the cowards they are. if they make a coward statement, i call them out on it. They dont like it. but someone has to be honest with them. if you dont protect your family or defend yourself or fight for whats right because you are "afraid of consequences" then you are a coward. point blank.

how is it disgraceful to want to take of your family and not go to jail. i call that good common sense. nobody is goanna take care of mine but me so unless you want to adopt all the children of the parents who land in jail for "fighting for their rights" fall back, cause your just as much a coward behind your computer screen.

My plea to the rest of the world is dont be lazy like slowmindcity.Wow he can read and recite some stats! My 5 year old can recite what he reads from the computer but it take real intellegence and courage to conduct your own study and reach your own conclusion and slowmind doesnt posses any of those qualities.

Martin Lee Anderson, Johnathon Tate,Donovan Jackson, etc. the list goes on of black women and children being abused by cops. do the research and SEE that police brutality against blacks has gone up 15 percent.

the coward mentallity has you not understanding how big the problem is in americam, because it makes you have to react to it. as long as you PRETEND like everything is ok, it lets cowards like you sleep at night--until its YOUR child getting beat up at the mall for wearing a head scarf. you dont read stats or facts, so you dont know how deep the problem is. i do. thats why i tell you and others, that COMPLAINING instead of ACTION, isnt going to stop the problem.
