  • a couple Billion?! holy shit!

  • Kepler + Ivy Bridge = Mother of God.

  • @luanswan2002 = Mother of God Price..

  • @webDes33 Tru story.

  • @luanswan2002 for a while, yeah. lol

  • the gpu it self now day is faster than the computer. the bottle necks now would be the hdd. ssd is still expensive, and games arent utilize these power house. look at console, their system have less power yet they were able to use most of it's power

  • come on, charging 800 dollars for a video card? with this economy? thats ridiculous, and when they launch the damn kepler architecture, they will be charging 1000 dollars for a video card so you can play your games with aa enabled, this is just outrageous, they should focus on getting the anti aliasing problem out of the way, with dedicated chips inside the cards or something, then ramp up the performance per watt,i will never buy a 500 dollar card again.

  • @petelebu you are rigth, video cards prices are been ultra rising in steps instead of become efficients or at least keeping the previous prices. i bougth my gtx 260 for 200 USD ,currents video cards of 200 USD has a worst perfomance than mine, that meant tecnology is goin back not foward. a decent video card for 2012 would be costing more than 500 USD. I'm thinking sersiously to go back PS3.

  • Where is Kepler? There isn't any. It will be (maybe first cards) in april 2012. nVidia liars! Thank you. Good night.

  • This is about power, not directly translated to performance. In other words Maxwell wont be xx times better than Kepler, but it will use much less power, but at the same time perform slightly better (15-20% is standard increase between CPU platforms. Not sure about GPU).

  • only an asian can do this....

  • @emptyskullify he's american

  • never heard of AMD ever again...

  • Just because nvidia is releasing better cards doesnt mean the high-end cards now are going to suck tomorrow.

  • @Smarterthandumber dude im still on the 8 series of nvidia gpu's keplar better not disapoint me when i buy my next high end laptop for collage in 2012

  • @krauser979 Same thing here, Im sitting with some crap HP laptop (thank god they are leaving us, RIP HP).

  • @Smarterthandumber Ya you heard too thats dumb just because they made a bunch of failboat touch pads nobody wants they pulling outa the pc buisness like bitches. In my oppinion they are overrated but they are the only company that makes more money than apple on computers.

  • @krauser979 I did not know that. :-P

  • @Smarterthandumber Ya when the hp touchpads were released bestbuy could not sell them for anything they literaly had thousands of these things in their inventory and hp wont take them back so because of this they might move out of the pc buisness and focus on software which is dumb cause they make decent printers and desktops =/

  • @krauser979 Yeah, thats why they were (?) sold for only 99 bucks. Pretty awesome deal. I agree on the printer stuff, shame. :-)

  • But i know this is all great in all, but you guys gotta remember....THIS IS NVIDIA!!! how many times do they bullshit about their products?

especially when Fermi first came to the public market...

IDC what mombo jombo info and statics nvidia shits out... when I see real world info then i'll judge

  • can someone please advice? does nvidia launch their flagship first with each new generation? cuz i dont want to buy something lower end when just a month later they release something more powerful....

  • @su1711 yes the high end is the first one released

  • I want Maxwell NOW!!

  • my fucking god, imagine computers in 2030..

  • Nvidia, put more man on the job! Need it for battlefield 3 ;)

  • @XcrazyX10

Amen, but my th GTX 590 still does the trick ;)

  • @carefulwiththat Gtx 460 here :/ Will run it around 1280x1050, med setting tho.

  • @Gargbanck AMD always screwed up !!

  • @OmarTheVenom simply not true look at the 5000 series of amd and compare that to the 470 and 480 and u will see that nvidia screwed up with their first fermi cores. and no im not amd fanboy im using a GTX460 but the 470 and 480 are crap. 5xx series is awesome though.

  • @Weini123 I have list with about 10 (series problems) of the 5000 series !! the only problem of 470 and 480 is the heat .. no problem in any cards again ! you can compare Nvidia features vs AMD features (which almost not exist) or the GTX500 series vs the HD6000 or GTX590 vs HD6990 ...etc....

  • @OmarTheVenom agree the feature list of nvidia is better than the one on amd side. but still for me heat + power consumption is a huge factor to take into account when judging which graphics card is better and thats why i think that the 5870 and 5850 were better than the 480 and 470. but still this is just my opinion. (btw i got my 460 because the fixed power and heat problems with their GPU update GF104).

  • @Weini123 I also have GTX 460 and I never can use GTX 470 or GTX 480 even if they are a gift .. also any cards of ATI/AMD .. because some of the reasons are (Bugs all the time - driver issues - gaming issues) and many more (and I would prefer the GTX 480 of course if I forced to choose between the GTX 480 and 5870)

  • AWESOME !!

  • 3x the performance per Watt of a GTX 580? Is this shizz fo real?

  • I cant wait for Max well that thing will be like SUPERULTRAMEGAGPU

  • Uhm should i choose a new mobo for my new gaming rig because kepler maybe uses x32 lanes??

Also, is kepler for high end only or would it fit a 2500k build??

  • @TheNewbpowner123 These are graphics card cpu's, like a gtx480 has a fermi processor...

The gcard will fir anything thats newer than p3 so ya...

Not shure on kepler bandwith, it may be a 16x lane speed user or 32x (Maybe both since most cards dont even fully utilize 16x yet...)

  • if they already know what they are going to do, just cut through the BS and ship out Maxwell. Instead of releasing a new video card every month.

  • @jewie27 uh... Why don't we have flying cars then....

  • Press 3 and 4 to commence teleportation.

  • Anyway I'm done with you ur not worth it

  • Yeh I deleted it cause ur just going to start an. Argument with me now seriously just fuck off. Mate

  • gtx 690 yeah who is up with that

  • The Maxwell concept is very much theory atm and cant see it coming out 2013. Kepler we will be v lucky if they are out before xmas 2011. I dont think Nvidia will bring them out that soon as they still want to sell off their 400 and 500 series cards. Plus dont get muddled up with CPU and GPU nm sizes they are different internally.

  • AMD are going to make so much money on their bulldog processors for industry. I dont know how they are going to compete with Kepler but I bet they do bring out their own 28nm series not long after. I like how both companies push each other. But I have to say Nvidia need to sort out their drivers still and properly test them before making drivers non beta. I am going to buy a Kepler soon after they are out IF Nvidia get their drivers right!

  • 0:11 fermi in 2009, are you serious

  • Man AMD i gonna be working hard.

    NVIDIA IS GONNA OWN!!!!!...AMD :)

  • @Taffy11000 Okay, you have now seen Nvidia's roadmap. Have you seen AMD's roadmap yet? No, you have not.

    Now please, fuck off.

  • Comment removed

  • @Taffy11000 Aww.. You had to remove your comment?

What he really said: "What, Dude sorry i didn't write that my stupid cousin did, i honestly have no favorites But don't tell me to fuck off you retarded fuck."

  • AMD , you are soooo screwed right now , am i right?? :) hehe

  • @gargbank UHM AMD IS COMMING UP WITH 28NM TOO YOU KNOW

  • @skimowhite586 well yes, the southern islands is the code for that gpu. But I like the nvidia cuda cores compared to stream processing units that amd has. Amd makes great cards, but nvidia smokes the fps in most of the games. Price/performance

  • @gargbank

    What a dumb statement.

TSMC is the manufacturer of the chipsets, which delivers to BOTH Nvidia AND AMD...

How the hell did u get 7 thumbs up for that?

  • Comment removed

  • @gargbank

Innovation will never survive in a world dominated by Intel.

  • @gargbank Wrong, AMD Southern Islands inc aswell

  • @gargbank 6months later.. Amd still has the fastest card though..

  • @Thet3 ?????????????????????

  • @TyrannicalGOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @gargbank Amd Runs there gpus on the same die tech as nvidia. so if nvidia does it AMD does it too. both Amd and Nvidia are going to release 28nm chip gpus at around the same time because they adopt the same die tech from the same company TSMC

  • @gargbank AMD is using the same 28nm tech dumbass

  • @gargbank actually 1 year later you are wrong! lol..

  • wowww

  • only 28nm? intel is working on 22. what is maxwell 11?!

  • @803brando soon it will turn to quantum computing

where 7 atoms can work out 3x5=15

  • @803brando 20nm I think... At 14nm TSMC will use FinFET's... Intel will have those in ivy bridge(3D tri-gate).

AMD and NVIDA may be competitors, but they both use TSMC and Intel is the 800 pound gorilla in the room.

  • @803brando Graphics cards works at differant levels than normal processors as far as I can see lol.

Graphics cards have never been on par with intel processor sizes...

  • haha effing funny "wow" at the beginning

  • Which is pretty much efficiency.
