God are you guys living in America ? we're not even talking about this technology i have four SD cards + two others (microSD+adapter) for my mobile phones ! God !
LOL that's not smallest i have five time smaller in my phone it cost only 10 euros or something and do you see that hole in your data storage or something. that hole is for smaller data storage ..thing
Do an amazon search for SD Card USB and you can now buy for $11 a SD card that snaps open into a USB. so no need for that other device and the SD card will work with any computer with a USB
Ok, I hate to be such a horrible person, but everything this man said is misleading. An SD card is not a "jump drive", it is a memory card. It is not a "Disk" as he calls it, and it is not "played" by the adapter, it is just a SD/USB adapter which plays the role of an interface. And the adapter gets plugged into the USB drive, not the "SD drive" as he mentioned. This is not a new technology, SD cards were first released in 2000, so they are 8 years old now.
IT is an external drive connecting to your computer via USB port. How is it different other than the way it appears??? You can store data, remove data etc.
My camera will only operate with a 4 gb. I use a 2gb now. I need to order a few more 2gb. Amazon would not give me lower shipping on buying more than one.
:D funny

Newbies...
They've made 32 gig micro sd cards that are a quarter the size of an sd card. There is even a 500 gig solid state drive on newegg that costs $10k.

Accualy man the smallest media device would have to be a micro SD stick^^ or just an XD stick
Sonbaka1 4 years ago
Yes, a micro would probably be even smaller. Is that read by a standard SD port.
BrianNelson123 4 years ago
no..micro SD are too small..you need a transfer card (regular size SD card with a slot for a micro SD card) or a micro SD reader
