What bugged me at the time (and everyone else who saw it) was that so many characters were wasted so quickly. Episode after episode and no one dies, then a whole whack go down in ten seconds in the film. It's not so much that they died, but that they died so quickly and easily.

When I watch the old 1986 Transformers movie, it says that the Decepticons have succeeded in taking over Cybertron and the Autobots are prepared to take their home-planet back. But when I've read about the movie on other things, it says that the Autobots have succeeded in driving the Decepticons away from Cybertron. Which one is right?
