Why oh' why can they not develop a sleek looking application for Windows Mobile 6? Symbian is an ancient platform used by ugly looking phones. HTC + Spotify would be so awesome! (I'm using an app developed by the people at XDA Developers but it's not the same experience)
I can't wait to have this on my phone. Here's one S60 user who can't wait!
Feature request: Automatic background syncing of offline playlists, ie if my 'mixtape' playlist is set to be available offline, let me set a schedulle when it should automatically download all new tracks I added to it from PC, eg over my home wifi every morning when I'm in the shower.

The only thing I dont like is that you have to be on Spotify premium to use this. The whole point of the service was to hear FREE music.. but ehhh, looks interesting nonetheless.

Hey stfu, there wasnt any need for that. And if that's the case then why doesn't the pc version cost money? Im not against it ffs, im just saying there a lot of PAID music services already -__-
How much data will we be allowed to cache on our phones to use for offline mode?
Are there restrictions other than storage space? At what bitrate will the songs on the offline mode be stored?
I use a Nokia E71 and will probably go premium when the S60 Spotify version is released.
Spotify for iPhone looks great, but it is downright silly of Apple not to allow it to run in the background. Like noone would ever write an SMS or check theri email or surf the web while playing music... ?!
true but it's not really about it being allowed to run in the bg. The iPhone is made with no background processes. If they just added it to one app all the app makers would go crazy.

Im curious..
Is symbian the same slow, buggy, crash prone mobile operating system it was when I last seen it, last year (Everyone I know dropped their Nokia's when the iphone came out...)?
It was laggy untill the n95/n82 came out. It just needs a fast processor. If the iphone os had the same hardware as the older nokia models it would lag too.
Funny if you didn't understand why you got those downranks. I could tell you right now 20 reasons why iphone / iphone os is worse than nokia model x / symbian. Expect im not going to becouse it makes no sense. See this is a video related to symbian and spotify. Coming to tell us that nokia/symbian sucks is downright idiotic. I would count that both as fanboyism and badmothing. Simply said: You got downranked becouse your comment was stupid.
Simple question, I don't like being restricted, and Nokia have recently pumped out some really nice looking handsets, and the reviews never focus too much (on engadget anyway) on the OS.
I don't lock myself down to one brand, or operating system on my computer or mobile phone, I go with what works, and if Symbians been tuned to be much faster than it was the last time I used it, I may well migrate.
Its relevant, because I wouldn't move to a non-spotify supported OS, because I like the service.
If il go to U2 song on youtube and write an comment on how metallica is so much better and i dont believe other people listen to this music becouse it sucks, and how all my friends listen to U2 That i wouldnt get downranked? Or that i wouldnt deserve to get downranked?
Hang on, how is this different, to someone coming on, saying, "I was a mac user for 15 years" is windows still as buggy as windows 95? or is windows 7 improved?
It was an honest question. If you're too much of a fanboy, to actually answer a question, without assuming its the start of a flame war then you're just as bad as any Apple, Microsoft, Pre or Android fanboy out there.
Good sound for a mobile phone :)

Hi.
On my ipod touch i cached 6.5 GB.
On a 16gb version i tried caching roughly 500 Tracks without problems.
Seems like no limit, thats good :)

Please Spotify, please prove that the N97 is good for something...

Actually, I had an n95, for a little while, battery life aside, given that was hardware, the operating system was pretty slow..
Also, why did I get 4 downranks? It was an honest question, with no fanboyism or badmouthing?
I'm basing it on a previous experiance, and accepting that things can change for the better (Windows Vista VS Windows 7, for example).

Great. Now Spotify is out\coming to every smartphone OS, except the one I have. WM for the lose.
All glory to spotify though. I'll just throw my X1 in the wall and buy an android.
