I still like his style better with Infectious Grooves and the Tendencies. That was the stuff that made him the god he is today. Also glad for him, now he's got some real money for all his Hard work. But still at least 2 or3 times a week I need to hear the Old stuff.

This always happens: a video of Jason has to say that no one plays better than robert trujillo, or upload a video of Robert Trujillo playing and then come to criticize and say what Jason does best, and who no longer exists cliff and yet they compare . stop criticizing and comparing musicians who just play for us to enjoy their art, we must begin to enjoy the art of each musician.

@TheMrbrokendreams Cada uno tiene su manera de tocar. Como compositor a mi me gustaba mucho JasonBurton también hacía sus cositas, aunque las frases de Jason me llegan a gustar mas. Luego esta Rob, que tiene otra menera de tocar y le ha tocado estar detrás de los otros dos bajistas, ese es su problema.

Técnicamente Rob no es malo.

De todas formas, ninguno de los 3 está a la altura de los mejores bajistas. Lo importante es que cumplan con lo que tocan, sin más.

@PSiCKoGiZMo primero y principal es Cliff Burton y entre los tres para mi fue el mejor que tuvo Metallica (hablando dentro de thrash metal) pero Rob trujillo es mucho mejor bajista tecnicamente hablando ya que domina las malloria de las tecnicas existentes en este instrumento y decir que ninguno de los tres esta a la altura de los grandes bajista demuestra tu ignorancia en cuanto a este instrumento trata

porque porque porque. debe ser siempre la gente que critica el arte de cada músico. Esto sucede siempre: un video de Jason lleva a decir que nadie toca mejor que robert trujillo, o subir un video de Robert Trujillo tocando y luego venir a criticar y decir que lo hace mejor Jason y cliff quien ya no existe y aun asi lo comparan. dejemos de criticar y comparar a los músicos que simplemente tocan para que nosotros disfrutemos de su arte, hay que comenzar a disfrutar del arte de cada músico.

@mrdanman1403 Pastorious, Hadrien and Wooten are all far better bassists than Trujillo. He's a good fit for metallica, and definitely better than Newstead, but he is no where close to godly.

@Tremblay343 the bassists you just listed aren't metal bassist's so therefore you cannot say they are better as they are a different style, thats like saying Red Hot Chilli Peppers are better than Slipknot

@rockstribute They're far better than him when it comes to the technical prowess of their instrument. They could play exactly what he played, but make it sounds way better. Also that solo really wasn't anything special. But if you're stuck on the metal thing: Stefan Simmers, John Myung and Alex Webster play heavier and more interesting stuff. I like metallica, and think they sound amazing together; alone not so much. Take 80% of Kirk Hammet solos. Lots of flair, not a lot of substance.
