@SolarPoweredGardener I know the feeling, I just need to find time now to properly range test our FPV and the do some serious flights. So many area's I'd love to target and the Nobbies would be awesome! As specially with a gopro on board. Good luck with it :)

what size batteries and how many do yo use in your Bixler? I found a good OSD Cyclops NOVA OSD with RTH function! $145.00 US new! I think it is a good price.

@Soldier53flyer That sounds like a great price. I haven't looked at the Cyclops OSD yet :) Only using the 1 Battery. Its a 2200mah and I get around 30min and that includes running the OSD and FPV gear

Great video, I love how you guys narrate and put little titles everywhere. I might copy that, but my wife already thinks I spend too much time "on the screen". lol

I've thought about flying at the beach, I think I'll have to wait until winter tho, too crowded now.

Love the GoPro mount too, have you just stuck the 'official' mount straight to the plywood? Before or after you sprayed it?

@rogueqd I should have explained it better than I did. Its actually printed in Plastic using a 3D Printer. I've be utilizing my aerospace design skill for models lately. The standard GoPro mount just clips directly onto this platform. It really works well.

Thanks for providing more food for thought. I'm in the process of installing FPV on my Bixler. How much does the weight of the GoPro affect the CG? Do you have to place the battery further back?

@FlyingMerf No two ways about it. I needed to push the Battery back a little further and I added a little KeyChain Camera to the Vertical Stabilizer. I'll do a proper video on what I did to get the CG Right on the Bixler after putting on the GoPro

@thephantomsguest Its the first time we had been their. I wouldn't mind heading back that way and trying a more full on FPV session. I love the fact that you could set up the FPV gear on top of the Cliff and still be able to land on the beach :) Will be back for sure
