A cammed ZO6 runs with a ZR1 for a while before fading off so that should tell you that this ZO6 isnt cammed because a ZR1 would make lunch meat out of this M5. IMO it sounds pretty stock, like somone else said, cammed Vettes sound insane and theres no mistaking them.
also i was going to say if it didnt throw flames out the back with the 911 and it did later maybe he gutted the cats which will cause that as it did on all my rides. That doesnt mean he is hella modded just normal. Either way as stated the M5 is fast and deserves the win.
Ive driven plenty of C6 Z06 Vettes working at a chevy dealer & that sounds exactly like a stock system. Ofcourse its louder since the exhaust opens up at a certain RPM because of the butterflies in the muffler. Even my car 01 LS1 with just regular bolt ons will shoot flames out the back of my tips and thats with my exhaust cut out open and most of the exhaust going through there. Its just unburned gas igniting. M5 is a great car and till we know what the Z06 exactly has cant say much about it

Stock C6 Z06's are capable of 10.9 @ 128mph in the 1/4... it's been done. They'll do 11.4's in the average drivers hands. The ASR car does 11.6 @ 125. Why would you think the vette owner has more than claimed? If he did he'd smash on the M5, n20 or not! I'm a BMW owner too, but damn guys... do your homework.
You do realize how big of a shot 150 of nitrous can be on a car, right? ASR M5 does 11.6 from them, it can be retuned for more power. and I've only seen ONE person do 10.9 in a z06 Jamie Fargell or something like that.

That Z06 has got plenty of mods on it and maybe NOS. I raced my stock e60 m5 against a C6 Z06 and was 3 car lenghts behind it. And this M5 had NOS and headers. Please guys !

That ZO6 has got more than what the owner says it does. ANY "mildly" built ZO6 would get clobbered by a NOS M5. And ANY stock ZO6 against the NOS M5 would look like a HYUNDAI.

a Z06 that has cams is the most obvious thing on the entire planet, you would hear that thing rumble a mile away. You're car is fast, and is a lovely car DONT get me wrong, but it takes so much more HP over stock to beat a Z06 which it what you proved.
I will post a video of the very same Z06 you guys claim is almost stock that ran a 997 turbo and both cars were close in power and the Z06 edged out the 997 turbo by a nose....We ran the 997 turbo with the M5 on NOS and beat it pretty bad....Besides listen to the exhaust note on the Z06 running the 997 turbo and listen to it running the M5, the Z06 sounds like two totally different cars...Bottom line that Z06 is fast and its not any were close to stock....
the Zo6 has a great ass motor thats why. thats a light weight 7L V8. the LS7 is the best motor in my opinion that GM has ever done. but i will tell you this... the M5 was 1000 pounds heavier and less aerodinamic and got to beat the vette. i dont get why people keep comparing a sedan vs a vette. lol but i like it.
what do you mean by built Z06? I know the guy and this aint no built Z06, I posted in another video of yours that I raced my previously Stock Z06 with a 640 BHP M5, I was faster full stop.
Im not sure which M5 you ran with 640 BHP, there is no such thing as an M5 or M6 thats makes 640 BHP with out NOS, an M5 with all the bolt ons which include (ECU, exhaust, cams, and headers etc) make no more then 550-560 BHP....Also you never raced any of our M5's, the night your refering there was only one M5 out there and on the spray and we were only able to run it twice...Also that black M5 off the spray makes 525 BHP all it has is exhaust and ECU....
@Topsupra that doesnt make sense it already maakes 500 CHP, so why would cams,ecu, pulleys, headers only give it 50 hp, and ur wrong, Kelleners M6 makes 625-650 with that set up and still lost to a Z-06 with a cold air intake
@alyousuf I'm in agreement with you that it takes quiet a bit of mods for an M5 to keep up with a stock Z06 (with a good driver) Also exhaust, Ecu & tune depending on tune can also run rich easily throwing out flams. Last but not least visited your youtube home page and it seems as you have spare Z06 layin around, & I'd have to say you probably know about tuned Z06s...but that's just IMO.

It is a fact that a bone stock Z06 can run 10.9 You have to be an amazing driver but it is possible. I don't think an M5 can come close to that.

I don't see why you would "build" a Z06 and run a stock exhaust. The M5 is just heavy as balls. A "built" C6 Z06 would put a hurtin' on that car.
