Jesus, who exists to save us from evil, which exists to glorify Jesus, who exists to save us from evil, which exists to glorify Jesus, who exists to save us from evil, which exists to glorify Jesus, who exists to save us from evil, which exists to glorify Jesus, who exists to save us from evil, which exists to glorify Jesus, who exists to save us from evil, which exists to glorify Jesus, who exists to save us from evil....
Wonderful delving into identity, attachment and life essence The eloquence is sublime. I would suggest listening to all of Sadhguru to better grasp the whole represented by the varied contexts of what he is addressing. Duality is a reality to us humans but at much higher levels it is not reality. There is no good and evil once you reach this dissolved state. Being caught in in duality does not change this. Duality is though how we understand better at our human level. Read Hawkins.
Devotional Non-Duality(Advaita)Teachings by Dr. Hawkins. Anyhow love is not the opposite of hate. All things that can be expressed dualistically are in reality one thing and not reducible to any lower level of being. Dualism is a convenient means of stating the facts about experiences. Sadhguru points out love is really being for life and attachment ties us up. My take on it is that attachment opens up anti-life experiences, hate, anxiety. It's not opposites as how much you are for life.
Devotional Nonduality is a direct way to enlightenment. It uses the power of the heart and not spiritual ambition. Followers of Devotional Nonduality seek the “core” of spirituality for its own sake, knowing that the source of our own existence is within. It is the devotion to the essence of Truth itself. Dr. David Hawkins, M.D., PhD. has delves into this state within all his teachings and writings, and in his book, “Devotional Nonduality”.
In the early years of Christianity, there was always a diverse and lively community that approached the Divine in a progressive spirituality from dualism to non-dualism (as well as everything in between). Through the centuries there were those who did come to realize the non-dualism taught by Christ, such as Origen, Meister Eckhart and Emmanuel Swedenbourg. Also as a side I would say study the lost years of Jesus and recognize the evidence that Jesus traveled and studied in India.
In my opinion, there are no opposites. Opposites are mental constructs. For instance, sweet is not the opposite of bitter nor salty nor sour. Duality is an illusion. Attachement is not the same as love, but it doesn't mean it's the opposite of it.
Nonsense. Sounds nice, but is BS. There are absolute goods and evils. Making children suffering is and always will be evil, doesn't matter if the society accepts it or not. Giving to another all you have will always be good. The same way, rejecting selfish animal instincts are the ultimate meaning of good, the absolute goodness. Loving each other and be in communion by rejecting our selfish animal instincts is the next level of consciousness evolution. Any enlightened mind should know this.
@dejesusluisx You are right, he is going to much by the philosophy by it all... THERE IS GOOD AND EVIL... Jesus showed this lesson to us... JESUS = GOOD = SACRIFICE ... DEVIL = EVIL = SELFISHNESS.... So there you go, EVIL is SELFISHNESS and GOOD is SACRIFICE! Period end of discussion, I like the other videos I have seen of this Sadhguru BUT I like him because he is a lot of philosophy, HOWEVER on this topic we must think literally and there is GOOD and EVIL!!!
@OooHesGood Agreed. This is the first video I've seen from Sadhguru where he lost the bus completely. Sounded more as if he was teaching a selfish, mundane, new age doctrine than a path to enlightenment. He should take Ravi Zacharias example and join Christianity to facilitate his progress to the next level of consciousness by rejecting materialism and selfish animal instincts as Christ taught us. God Bless.
@LuDimezofKush No, is quite the opposite. What makes us humans is what differentiate us from animals. Animals act driven by instincts, humans can choose, and the ultimate choice is rejecting selfish instincts. By deciding to act contrary to instincts we become closer to become 100% humans, and we elevate our consciousness. We are talking about fasting, rejecting materialism, giving away instead of taking for us, forgiving instead of taking revenge, and loving instead of hating.
@dejesusluisx all beings whether animal or human live for 3 causes. To consume, reproduce and take space. We lean toward a fake society that awards you for robotic like behavior. There is never balance. We either act as animals or machines.
@LuDimezofKush Correction, they do those 3 things as a result of their material existence, they reason for their life is different and reasons and causes can only be attributed by conscious being. Behaving contrary to selfish instincts is the opposite to acting either as animal or machine, is acting human.
@dejesusluisx i dont think fasting is neccessary , nor is eating a selfish instinct . If you ate just enough to live and be healthy and meditated a lot and exersized a lot you'd be doing good
@LunarRaeyz : first nothing in yogic science is a coincidence or just like dat..What happens when you fast is that ur thought begin to move upwards towards the seed of the soul the sahasrara or the penial gland as they call it . I see that you practise yoga and i think you understand the energy travelling upwards!
@theebu29 I think fasting is a good way to introduce higher states of conciousness (spelling?) but it's not %100 needed to raise energy , in my own experience fasting (and smoking pot and doing mushrooms lol) brought me extremely into the spirit world (didn't stay a good experience for long) , so I can't deny it's use. I don't practice yoga, but I used to stretch a lot and sort of do things that were like yoga and chi gong. I think I understand the energy, though I know I have a lot to learn :)
Yes you discovered right, i have been born as muslim as well and i have studied very much Sufism in Islam which i consider as core of islam. What i have studied in Sufism is precisly the same which Sadhguru is speaking about. I feel that some where the core of all religions is exactly the same. They are different only in pherifery which has been made by us people. As great Sufi Master Rumi said in his poem: "WE HAVE PICKED UP THE CORE OF KORAN AND THROW ITS COVER TO THE OTHERS".

You are this much for life, you are that much for life. It's not opposites but a sliding value of your current state.
