  • Those ate striped bass not white bass but nice catch:)

  • Nice first crappie!... and legs!!

  • we dont have white bass up here in ontario canada, are they good eating like crappie? was just wondering, keep your lines tight!

  • @DrDoobs420

Crappie is a much more delicate and "sweet" fish to me. These, to me, are closer to a large mouth bass taste!

A bad day fishing beats a good day at work!

  • @DrDoobs420 they are very good eating!

  • Elite heavy duty por series rod holders.

  • Nice White Asses Lols

  • nice crappie at 1:25 i live in missouri and fish bullshoals not far from yall could you gimme some tips on where to fish down there next spring please? email me if you would at dmoney222@gmail.com at least lead to some websites please thanks much

  • when I lived on the lake limestone we use to go out and catch huge white bass and croppie. I used speckeled trout rigs to catch them.

  • a white bass is a white perch

  • @tristancooper1997 ... its not actually.. its in the same family but its a species of small bass that can mate with striped bass... therefore making a hybrid striper

  • its not called a white bass its called a stripebass

  • @DeathToonSkatin not true a stripebass is sometimes referred to a striper

  • Nice white basses!lol

  • dammm that looks like bass city, what a nice place to fish, a ton of trees in the water very nice ;)

  • huge crappie...and cute girl

  • Looks like fun...nice vid!

  • really nice

  • Can't wait to get on those white bass and crappies!

  • @slatetundra07

We tried last Thursday and had no luck. Crappie were still down deep. Don't know where the white bass were. Water looked good, was running into the bayou. Maybe

    the crazy weather

  • i would use road runners in muddy water

  • Nice fish! Those were some big crappie!

  • Thanks! Wanted to do it again this year but the record rain fall messed up a lot

    of fishing. )-:

  • nice to see that you are practicing catch and release. I go fishing at my local lake all the time, shore fishing, and I can sit there for 6-8 hours and only catch one if Im lucky. Its nice to see someone having good luck

  • Stripers are freshwater too.....dumbshit

  • i have cot biger

  • @legocrashernick Great! Now go learn how to spell!

  • well i live in utah and the white bass are so over populated its no uncommon to to go to a little tiny place called sping creek and pull out 150 in a day

  • sheba51, you are an idiot! Striped bass also live in freshwater rivers and lakes. You must have thought you have fished for 30 years! You must have been smoking pot during those 30 years!

  • watch my ohio river video and check out some of the white bass me and another guy caught, we also got a 35" flathead

  • the one at 2:00 is a small striper because it has a elongated body than white bass.

  • what kind of jigs are you guys using?

    plz answer

  • Used to be Mr. Twister White bodies, single and double tail. Pink 1/8 oz jig head, and small silver spinner.

I am putting a short video together of the jig.

I get alot of this same question. (-:

    Bill

  • I checked and everyone was right, there were some stripers in the mix. They were coming hard and fast and we did not pay too close attention.

Went to the same area on 4/24/09. Water was higher than last year! We were catching these fish on a ledge running from 1.5 feet to around 28 feet deep Same place was 12 feet deep to 40 feet deep this year.

  • I think the fish at 2:01,2:33,and 5:30 are striped bass. i could tell those species of crappie are white crappie. nice vid! the fish just kept coming!

  • stripper and white bass looks almost the same but stripper intends to grow bigger

  • Dont forget that the striped bass is a SALTWATER fish and the white bass is freshwater. All look like white bass to me, but what do i know? only 30 years of river fishing experience.

  • Striped bass can also live in FRESHWATER.

  • It does look like you caught a striped bass. Anyway nice fish!

  • what kind of jigs were yall using?

  • Looks like you may have caught a couple of small strippers, one at 2:33, the one farthest from the camera, and one at 5:30, I may be mistaking but I'm pretty paranoid myself since there is a size limit on them now.

  • Will look the video over.

  • what state is this in because i live by a white river.

  • Arkansas

  • i fish here every chance i got i only live 15 mins away ..

  • I wish I was that close, when gas was $4 a gallon it was bad enough to fill the boat.

Filling the boat and jeep was $80!

  • yea .. i know .... i am so ready this weekend i get to go to the white river and do some bass fishing .. hey have u seen the car on the side of the clif yet by the boat docks ??

  • what kind of jeep do you have and what year is it

  • there relesing water in oklahoma and we caught a ass load

  • Nice video, check out these white bass.

  • Wow thats some good fish you guys caught!!1

I have a similar green jig like the one you got.

What exactly did you use to catch the white bass?

  • They would bite about anything thrown at them,

but mainly a white body, pink head, and small

    spinner.

  • grea t vid, keep lines tight

  • the crappie were very nice, I don't know much about cleaning white bass, they say there is some kind of dark meat or vein that needs to be removed.

  • how much did the big crappie weigh??

  • Sorry, did not weigh any of them but they made

a fine mess of fish for dinner the next night!

  • i sincerely hope you didnt keep those fish if they came out of water anywhere near PB. Being from White Hall i know how bad the water is there. LOL. Great fishing and some great catches.

  • that is the exact area the dioxin from

jacksonville shut down in the ..... early

80s. We ate them but try to not eat fish

too often from that area. (-:

  • i live in pb and now the water has been treated so it ok to eat those fish

  • I wqouldnt fish in polluted streams ,is there any work being done to improve stream quality, dont stand for pollution

  • Nice video. It seems like you caught lots of fish.

  • do u use fishing sonar ?

  • I use it to find channels and deep spots when fishing somewhere new. All these places in my

videos are well known to those that grew up in

    Arkansas County. (-:

  • thanks for this Bill, I'm headed for Okeechobee for some speck action next month, are you using mr. twisters chartreuse?

  • Had to look but yes, they

are the mr. twisters. Will switch between the

white and chartreuse depending on conditions.

    Have a good fishig trip!

    Bill

  • nice fish

  • And I hear the fall crappie have

    started biting!

  • not a bad day of fishin, where are you from?

  • Stuttgart, Arkansas

More known for its ducks and mosquitos. (-:

  • wow i would love to go there someday. Im going fishing this weekend for those.

  • what fish was the one at 6:20 if it was a crappie how big was that guy?

  • It was one of the nicer crappies. I did not

weigh it but it was a nice one.

  • in the beginning you say you loaded up whos mother now? kyles?

  • Kyle's mother is the blond,Kaye. The tiny girl is Kyle's fiance Kendra

  • what kinda lure is that?

  • those girls r smokin hot! id fish with them any day

  • I bet you would.....one of them is mine

  • Man i love Crappie fishing.

  • I hear that Crappie are delicious. What all do you put on them and how do you cook them?

  • Crappie is a white flesh, sweet tasting fish.

The small crappie we panfry and the larger ones we fillet and fry.

All we do is dip them in a light cornmeal batter with a touch of red pepper.

  • Thanks Man!Appreciate It!Well good video and good fishing!

    Keep Those Hooks Wet

  • what video editing program did you use?cuz ive used windows movie maker and it always says invalid file?wtf?

  • I use Pinnacle Studio 10. It is a user friendly product but the

    release was loaded with bugs.

The newest version Pinnacle Studio 11 is out for $49 and hopefully

has most of the bugs removed. Look up pinnaclesys

  • very good video! looks like a great fishing trip!!!

  • It was fun, have to be at the right place in the spring. About

the only thing going on now is cat fishing.

  • spring is the best time for bass

  • It is and not to mention it is

    104 degrees today!

  • What a jew

  • dude i fish there before

  • this is a cool video i go fishing for white bass around this time too but we have to wait until mid august to actually catch big white bass.. wenever we go we get about 2 cooler fulls but alwayz end up bbqing them and finishing them in about a few days. you should try just putting them on a grill with scales and evreything den peel off the scales wen dere cooked

  • We filet them, making sure to remove the dark

stripe of meat and usually fry them.

May try the grilled method next spring.

By August here it is so hot and the water so low

we have to catfish to do any good.

  • theres a beauty at 1:42

  • this is the BEST video i have ever seen.

    thanks

    xx

  • The kids had a great time, which is all that

    counts.

    Thanks

  • Can I take that girl in the blue shirt and short shorts to prom.

  • wow...nice fishing. looked like you guys had fun. you mind me asking where this was at?

  • is it in Ontario?

  • Arkansas River below Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

  • where you went fishing in the video

  • Arkansas River below Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Reydell

    landing.

  • u can break the rod like that

  • They are just learning, just

wanted them to have fun. Plus

I have never broken an Ugly Stick!

  • give me the girl!

  • where was this film take at. i like to go fishing there too. give direction.

  • thts a pretty good size crappie

  • wat did u guys use?

  • White body with a pink jig head. Small silver

spinner. Also used a shartruse body with either

pink or white head, small spinner.

  • dat was a pretty big crappie and she is pretty hot!

  • I agree, Also putting your ciggarette ashes in the river don't help them either.

  • have been dealing with an elderly parent with

congestive heart failure so I have not kept up

with the comments. So here goes.....

You do know that that act of running an

outboard motor on the water for just

a few minutes puts out more poison

than a hundred smokers? Not to mention

your truck that pulled the boat to

the launch does much more damage

    than smoking.
