Cool. Did you find my Maui Jims? The big guy at the shack gave me a mask, but I gave up once I dropped a piece of paper at the bottom and watched it dissappear out to sea quickly. Were you staying at Hana Maui or just passing through? A buddy of mine who lives there got smacked onto coral surfing in the spring. He was sent to Honolulu with his injuries. Got to watch out when you're playing in the North Shore waves!
I surfed there on my honeymoon in Nov 2006. Big day ( a few feet overhead)at Homoa with only one other guy out. It was great!!!
