John knows his stuff.....the organ reminds me of the organs made for the Publix chain of theaters which the Florida theater, Jacksonville, Fla. was one. The Wurlitzer (Publix) organs have a terrific sound and Mr. Bowdler knows how to bring it out.

One of the Publix. No. 1 type WurliTzer organs actually made it here to England in 1930. Originally in the Manchester Paramount cinema it is now beautifully restored and in a good home in the ballroom of the Stockport Town Hall. You can find out more about it on the Stockport Town Hall website.
