@shooteraod yeah, around this part of the country nitrous is favored by the money crowd because they can keep buying motors, and go through them like toilet paper. You want a motor that lasts, nitrous is not the way to go. People have told me "yeah, but superchargers blow up...", true enough, but a blower has an advantage: When the blow up occurs the motor stops and so does the blower stop pushing air. With nitrous too many keep pushing oxygen even after the blow, feeding the fire. Unsafe.

@gurlsingerfan you are right. I build a few blower motors and I have done a few juice motors, but there is no warranty on a juice motor or a blower motor. Check out my site by doing a GOOGLE search of " MotorsbyShooter " and look at the motor and the dyno sheet that I built for my best bud. Lotta ponies in that motor running a single carb with no blower or juice.

@gurlsingerfan SO you're saying at 7500rpm,the blower motor will have less damage than the nitrous engine,if there is a problem, simply because of the favoured power adder?The Only thing worse on nitrous is if you have a backfire or something like that,and the FUEL solenoid is still powered,usually "cause your foot is to the floor" and fuel is fed into the flames.That is easilly fixed with what is called a "window" switch from msd.

And you get the kind of quote " he was using a window switch for his nitrous, and had the setup professionally installed" I found with the picture of a burned out C5 Corvette. With blower, the very mechanics of the thing stops pusing air, with nitrous, the selenoid or window switch had BETTER be right, cause a bit of nitrous goes a long way in fueling fire
