Thanks so much! I understand that this is a traditional folk song. I searched YouTube but could not find any other video on it. Do you know of any singer who has sung it? Google says 岸千恵子 has sung it.

kawaii = cute!!! and yes it is very cute - after looking at a bunch of shamisen vids on you tube i am amazed that they were all fast and flashy - very nice but i wondered what happened to the traditional beautiful music i remebered from my 3 years in japan and okinawa back in the 60's - nice to see it here in this vid - thanks
