@defendurrootz I will go back to Jordan someday..I am married to a Jordanian, but my home is here in USA for now because my mother is terminally ill...I must spend her last days, maybe months here. I am in the process of bringing my husband here to live with me. Someday we will go back to Jordan, maybe to live.

I am Danish-American and I am pleased to be a sunni muslim. I was christian for most of my life until Allah guided me to Islam. I miss living in Jordan where I heard the Call To Prayer all day. We don't have this in USA and I miss it dearly.

@TheDarknetlord During Ramadan here, I heard adhan every day at certain times for the 5 daily prayers but I dont here it daily now. The mosque must have been given permission only during Ramadan to announce daily prayers at that time....but still i miss it all so much...my husband is still in jordan and i pray he will be able to come here when all his paperwork is finished and gets his visa.

The adhan has been scientifically proven as a thetha wave that provide balance to every waves in the universe. That is the sole reason why we feel calm during the adhan as the wave resonates with our brain waves to give peace.
I'm not a Muslim and don't speak Arabic, but this is beautiful stuff. I recently got to witness an actual call to prayer at a local mosque thanks to a Muslim friend of mine. it was a very moving experience.

I do not support Islam, or any other religion that sets people apart from folks of other faiths (meaning any single religion at all, that I can think of), but God IS great, and this song about that is truly beautiful. The best thing about any organized religion is the music that is generated due to the sincere dedication of the followers of the given religion. Unfortunately that same dedication usually generates undesirable behavior and prejudice as well, from EVERY organized religion.
