Alright, I started a new game because there was a preloaded file "brendan" on the game. I played for like 15 minutes and then saved and turned the game off. Today I went on and I could see my save from last night but whenever I try to load the file it shows up as "brendan" and I really want to play on my profile. Can you help solve this problem.

That isn't my character. Someone played it and shared it online. I just shared it again. Yes, the game is save-able in 2 ways, one is the "Enter" to open up your "Menu". The other way is to select the file and find "Save", and then select a slot.

This error message comes up in games that use 128k Flash chips. The default setting in VisualBoy Advance is to emulate a 64k Flash chip. To fix this, go to Options > Emulator > Save Type, and select "Flash 128k." Be sure to delete any .SAV files for the game before doing this. Otherwise it will continue trying to use the corrupted save file.

OR

Go to Option > GameBoy > Save file size (or something) and choose the larger option, then restart the emulator and reload the game.

My brother had accidentally overwritten my saved game file with a new game, but I had made two copies of that saved file before I had let him play, just in case. Is there anyway to put that copy of the save file into the game so I don't have to start over again?

Select "File", find "Load Game" and then find and select the save data. You should be able to find it if you have saved the game via the emulator ("File" -> "Save Game" -> "Select a slot")

I have 7-zip. You only need it to extract the.zip files. The emulator and rom is already in the .zip file.

O.O Weird... Go to "Options" and then Hover on "Emulator". After that, tick on "Real Time Clock". Press CTRL + R and it should restart the game. If this doesn't work, open notepad, Copy this in

and name it vba-over.ini (Save the "Configuration Settings" file into the Emulator file and restart the game.

Did you encounter any pokemon when the game froze? If yes, then the cheats might have clashed if you have added in any gameshark codes. Some cheats don't work well with each other so don't activate all the cheats at once.

It should work. Its just like restarting the game in the gameboy when you hold (A, B, Start, Select). So it should restart the game, and the start up screen should appear.

Rare candy will be in your personal storage in the PC.

Masterballs will be sold in the market.

For the codes to work, after you have switched it on, save the game. Restart your entire game by re-opening the emulator. After that, go to the respective places I have mentioned and you will find your Masterballs and Rare candys.
