At 10:45 to 11:02 is a scene that was filmed in my hometown of Zion Illinois (Zion City back then). It's amazing that I recognized the background in the film. My Grandfather operated the Boiler Room which has the tall smokestack seen in the background

I saw this clip on TV years ago and then it was removed for some reason. I tried to purchase it but it was unavaible. Also, the billboard sign was one of many signs Voliva errected throughout Zion City, After all these years...THANKS YOUTUBE!

This is really interesting, just to remind myself how much the world has changed. I smoked on and off during the 90s before I finally saw the writing on the wall and gave it up for good. I hope we've finally turned the corner on smoking and future generations won't have the same exposure to cigarettes. Sure, there will still be some smokers but it won't be seen as normal or socially acceptable.

In hindsight the 1953 meeting was most likely wrong and rushed but looking at the time is was probably the right decision would they have made a statement saying e,g that smoking large amounts of cigarettes may cause lung cancer and that you would make the choise yourself
