I like the mini 9 because no heating issues and its smaller. But if you get the battery option of 6cell on the mini 10 you get around 7 hours battery life, 6hours if your watching movies. The newer mini 10s has a great style without that silver this time black with a non slick stuff. Bigger screen is nice. Unfortunetly it does get hot quickly as it has a HD instead of an SSD like the mini 9. It does have much bigger hd though!

Mini 10v is a cheaper variant of Mini 10, you should avoid it. Mini 1011 as I can figure out, has different mainboard chipset and video chipset, than Mini 10. Also a VGA conector is used by 1011, instead of HDMI on Mini 10.

No. I think they used the HDMI connection to send both, image and sound to a LCD TV or monitor which has speakers. The highest resolution the mini can output is 1024 x 600 pixels

Yes, but it'd take up like 67% of the memory. I'd recommend upgrading the ram to 2G and it'll run ALOT better. It's a little tricky, but it's possible.

Someone put up a video of WoW being played with all low graphics, and it seemed pretty damn fast. Plus you can upgrade the ram to 2gigs, soo... there you go. Upgrade the ram, go with the 10v and not the 10.. (better graphics card, less bus speed)..

Yup you can. But you'll need an external optical drive if you have to install it from a cd.

Also, just so you know, Vista will probably make it slower. XP is much more lightweight.
