Can anyeone please explain me, in a very resumed way, way is svensk similar to danish and norwegian, i know the sry of norwegyan it comes from the danish while they had control on norway for 400 years but why is swedish also similar?
Part 2 : - compressed vowels you could say that protruded means a form of labialization this is true for ʏ as well.
r tends to lower most vowels(especialy where I live) when the vowel preceds it. And oh yeah ɵ and ʊ is also compressed. If you already know this very well then I am sorry for typing all of this info. Just wanted to give some tips since many people so have problem with Swedish vowels but if you already knew maybe some esle might have use of what I wrote.
I don't know too much about Swedish, really. Just basic pronunciation.
I think the vowels are very tricky, and I would love to see you make a video about these pronunciations. I particularly like the [ʉ], I think it's somewhat similar to the Southern Californian /u/, cause it's very fronted..
Part 1: Was just checking here again and though I can give some commentary that might be of use if your learning Swedish(or maybe you already know this)
r plus an dental/avelor consonant tend to asmeliate to there retroflex counterparts in most diealects today how ever there are exeption to this. Some rounded vowels like ʉ u tends to be extra compressed example of compression can be found in Japanese u. y is for the most protruded that is the lips are pouted out instead of shut as in
