@DRakomol Actually, I imagine the concept for this pedal was dreamed up based on the hellish process of trying to get a real acoustic sound with a soundhole mount magnetic pickup. It sounds like a hollow electric until you eq the hell out of it, because a magnetic pickup is not a microphone. I actually used to put my DeArmond 240 in my acoustic, plug in to my classic 30 with some gain, mic the amp and the guitar separately. It sounded like acoustic and distorted electric playing the same thing.

Been awhile but if your still curious, Electric Guitars use drastically different Amps than what you'd plug an acoustic into, Usually acoustics go through their own specialized line of amps or PA systems. So the EG line out goes to your Guitar amp, and then the Other is for the house PA system or your own Acoustic Amp.
The sound is considerably different if your using something like a jackson, but im using a fender tele 60's, which if i play clean through my amp it sounds acoustic anyway so its not really worth me buying
Bullshit Ibanezs have a great cleansound because you can split the humbuckers to single coils. Jacksons give also a good Cleansound you just have to set it up right.
These pedals don't even sound like an acoustic guitar. All you have to do to attain a sound like that is have a clean channel and learn to work with your volume knobs on your guitar.
Im pretty sure the gearwire folk enjoyed watching iphone unboxing, the ps3 umboxing etc.. they seem to have tried to do the same to these pedals. Know your audience lol. But i enjoy watching these reviews anyway.

True, you do get a better sound from a real acoustic but for a quick change onstage, mid-song, or just to save space and money this is probably a pretty good deal.

This guy make me laugh ^^ if you realy want to have that realy acoustic sound, dont plug this on your Marshall amp the speakers add the color tone from Marshall and it's not the goal , this pedal is to plug directly on a clean acoustic amp and a Mixer board, and use real guitar pickup such as emg or dimarzio, by anyways it's not sound like a real Martin or Taylor Takamine acoustic guitar but more like a Godin guitar, with piezo.

he uses a telecaster to explain the possibilites of a proco rat (a distortion pedal used by morbid angel and metallica on ride the lightning) and a jackson to explain the possiblilities of an acoustic simulator lol
For $130 this pedal does NOT make your electric sound like an acoustic... Good video though.
