Not pressure it is called compression!! It could be because of a bad head gasket! When he hit the stump did the motor stall real quickly?? Also the reason for reving up and down is because the govoner is not set right. It is connected to your throttle!! Just set it all the way back and adjust from there Don't take it apart unless u check for compression first! If you need any help with anything let me know.
