  • I still can't believe that's the same girl from the Waterboy.

  • no movie can ever be better than the original Wizard of Oz. it was pure genius and was amazing. sorry but i dnt think "Return to Oz" would be all that good. i will always prefer the original. ily <3

  • this is weird!!! i never saw and never want to see it!

  • SCARIEST FILM EVER!

  • i was looking through some of my vhs tapes and i found this

  • This was a fail! haha no offense to the fans

  • Have the VHS. The actress who plays Dorothy oddly enough grows up as the villain in the 1995 movie 'The Craft.' Ironic!

  • i don't give a fuck what other people say about this movie!!!! i think that this movie is cute and a good movie!!! i don't give a fuck if people say it's "dark" or other bullshit like that. if they even read Baum's original books they'll know that his Oz books get darker and darker. so fuck all of you who don't agree with this comment!!!!

  • This film is a lost classic. Very dark for a kids film and, hence, not a box-office success but I saw it as a kid at the cinema and loved it, as did my sister-it's stayed with me far more than most films from those days. The unimaginative reviewers don't want to be associated with a commercial flop. Commercial success does not guarantee a good film-see Transformers and numerous others for details. Return to oz is a great movie and I've noticed a change in attitude to it over the years.

  • the only kids film that scared the crap out of me... the wheelers still make me shiver. ACE film though

  • @thecattus3 Read the first three books in the "Oz" series by L. Frank Baum and this movie won't scare you at all (it's based on the second and third books of the series). In fact, you'll probably love the "Return to Oz" movie more than "The Wizard of Oz" movie! As great as the 1939 musical was, the book was far better.

The first three books of the series are:

    The Wizard of Oz (1899)

    The Land of Oz (1904)

    Ozma of Oz (1907)

  • @GeorgiaKev thanks... i'll see if i can get my hands on a copy

  • @thecattus3 Amazon should have them. Baum wrote 14 Oz books between 1900 and 1920, and they were so popular that another author, Ruth Plumly Thompson, continued to the series for more 19 volumes over the next 20 years!

If you do decide to read the series, be sure to read the books IN ORDER.

  • CAN ANY BODY PLEASE TELL ME WHY SHE IS YOUNGER IF THIS IS WAT HAPPENS AFTER THE WIZARD OF OZ....GREAT MOVIE THO BETTER THEN PART 1

  • @Prettyb0ytv because return to oz was not meant to be a direct sequel to the 1939 MGM The Wizard Of Oz...its supposed to follow the original books ..and in the books Dorothy was much younger than a teenager like 11 years old or so.

  • "Return to Oz" was one of my favorite films when I was little. I kept having my parents rent it me over and over again!!

  • this movie fucked me up SOOOOOOOO BAD as a kid lol scariest shit i have EVER SEEN AS A CHILD

seriously scary stuff, but im glad i watched it because if i saw it now and never saw it as a child then i wouldnt appreciate it at all!

its these types of movies, return to oz, fantasia, wizard of oz, etc, that i am going to get my kids to watch, not this hanna montana shit - the real stuff

  • @beauzuluuluz Return to Oz didnt make it as a popular movie cuz it was extremely dark. Maybe too dark for it's time. Though it was a good era for dark childrens films, The dark crystal, the neverending story, ect. It wasnt close enough to the judy garland version. Wich 90 % of the population is more familar with. Hollywood is coming out with some new Oz films next year. Like a animated 3d movie called Dorothy of Oz & a More adult Disney Perquel, Oz the great and powerful with Mila kunis :)

  • This movie reeks of epic'ness

  • Wasn't the guy who played Tik Tok some presenter from Blue Peter? Thumbs up i it is so I can see I'm correct

  • Is it just me or shouldnt Dorthy be older????

  • @MayokoLove NO. this isnt a sequel to 1939 musical. just a different version. The original dorothy is only about 8 years old in the novels that were written.

  • whoa this is cool!!!!!!!!!

  • I loved this movie when I was little but the head scene always scared the crap out of me lol

  • I loved this as a kid. I still remember how much I liked the way Tik Tok was so nicely shined up at the end.

  • The funny thing is that I watched this one before I watched the original, but I still like both movies and they are awesome, just... in their own way. :P

  • Nostalgia, Nostalgia.

  • One of my childhood favourites!

  • I always say "bob hoskins" when Dorothy says what is that in reference to tick tock

  • I dont think Return to Oz is dark, it's just more faithful to the books... :)

  • I think this has a lot in common with American McGee's Alice...dark version of a well-known childhood tale. Plus they are both awesome :)

  • I love the 1939 musical but that Oz was all "Sissy foo-foo" & Judy Garland was too old for the part. Playing victim & too clueless. Baum intended Dorothy as only a small child. No older than 6 or 7. Yet Mature, good natured, but odd. This Dorothy is More closer to her original spirit. Brave & has a sense of self. Destroying a evil rock King, a vain Queen with 30 heads & restoring a young beautiful princess back to her rightful throne. What 7 year old can do that? This Dorothy can! Sorry Judy.

  • I can't believe Disney made something so....dark...

  • Return to Oz is like the dark version of The Wizard Of Oz... harsh 80s... it was my favourite movie when I was a kid, along with Moonwalker(1988) with Michael Jackson

  • @weirdscience85 moonwalker was a classic too haha havent heard that in a long time.

  • O_O I'm kinda scared cause I saw one video of that movie and it FREAKS ME OUT!!

  • i've never even heard of this movie

  • @BoobyBear91 its a horror movie for kids =).

  • @BoobyBear91 You have to watch it, I just did... I first watched it when I was 6 in 1991, it was advertised a lot then but it came out when I was born... you will this movie even enjoy it as an adult... the girl who plays Dorothy is Fairuza Balk who is the same chick who plays the head witch in The Craft(1996) the harsh gothic chick... she's also in the movie The Waterboy(1999) she plays Adam Sandlers gothic girlfriend

  • My sister apparently went to see this and was really scared!

  • this movie was my shit when i was little

  • DOOOOOOOROOOOOOTHYYY GAAAAAALE

  • this movie scared me when i was little.

  • cool thanks my friend tommy story his father came across the title on fois unit recider and i just looked it up to see if it has mmore info if its live action or cartoon and i was able to let him know that its live action and its by walt disney cool thanks a cool zillion ps update he shoed me just know that cnbc news is talkning abouit cool walt disney

  • cool thanks my friend tommy story his father came across the title on fois unit recider and i just looked it up to see if it has mmore info if its live action or cartoon and i was able to let him know that its live action and its by walt disney cool thanks a cool zillion

  • I loved this movie , speacialy the part of the monster saying: you, ,,,, pumbkinhead

  • there are so many things wrong with this movie! (spoilers) auntie em tries to make her get electroshock therapy! those freaky ass wheelers! the chick who collects heads! how in the world is this considered a kids movie???

  • @klarebear721 thats the thing to you know the true meaning of fairytales the originals before they where ro done a gizinial times where blood and gore they had misteriouse monsters and villans that disney wont use with fear of sues from protective parents this movie is trying to be like old fairytales but they did'nt take it as far as the fary tales

  • When I saw this the first thing I thought was: "why is dorothy sooo much younger than the first movie?!?" am i the only one???

  • What the fuck is this

  • The Oz you will want to return to again and agian? Wtf. Its all broken, dark and scary. Plus those punkass wheelers are all over the place.

  • This is so scary... They shouldnt have even made this!!! They should just make Wicked the movie!

  • This is so scary... They shouldnt have even made this!!! They should just make Wicked the movie!!!!

  • I WAS TERRIFIED WHEN I WAS LITTLE!!!

  • scene with the witch sleeping and her heads gave me the creeps for a loooong time. had nightmars for like 2 or more years

  • this gave me nightmares, was actually terrifying as a kid!!!!

  • The MGM musical should be considered it's own thing and sometimes I'm more in the mood for the musical and sometimes more in the mood for something like this. Regardless, I applaud this for doing a much more appropriate job of capturing the spirit of an Oz book.

Much as I love the MGM musical I do hope that one day a studio will have the balls to do a book faithful adaptation of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Fingers crossed, etc.

  • BY FAR!!! THE WORST FILM WALT DISNEY HAS EVER MADE THEY MUST HAVE BEEN DRUNK AND WHILE DRUNK THEY CREATED THT!!!!WAIT I TAKE IT BACK IT IS THE WORST FILM ANYONE HAS MADE!! I LOVE DISNEY BUT VERY DISAPPOINTED AND THE WIZARD OF OZ WAS WAY BETTER!! AND IT WAS TERRIBLE WITH OUT THE SONGS!!!! AND THEE WITCH AND ALL OF THEM!!!

  • @MrPeeweepickle This is NOT a sequel to the Judy Garland film. The Mgm version of Oz is way sugar coated than the way L. frank baum Originaly wrote the books. The 1939 Wizard of Oz was out to make money. & yes they were successful in doing so. But Return to Oz was more truthfu & stayed faithful to the novel. Dorothy isnt 16 in the books, Shes only 9. The only reason Judy garland got the part in the 1939 film was because of her singing voice. They originaly wanted to choose shirley temple.

  • @RockMegaBarbie WELL EXCUSE ME! MRS SASSY MCSASS PANTS!!!!!!! WELL EXCUSE ME IF IM NOT A NERD ABOUT THE WIZARD OF OZ AND THE WIZARD OF OZ IS STILL BETTER!!!!

  • I like it

  • Watched it for the FIRST time today (July 29, 2011) Words can't explain the horror, the torture.

  • For those of you who may not know, L. Frank Baum, who wrote "The Wizard of Oz" in 1899, wrote an entire series of Oz books up until his death in 1919. This movie is based on the second and third books of the series. It's a shame that the Oz books have disappeared into obscurity, they are fantastic books and easy to read. They were so popular that after Baum died, another author, Ruth Plumly Thompson, continued the series for 19 volumes! Most of the books are available at Amazon.

  • After all the hype and build-up, the movie was (for reasons of internal politics) only shown at movie theatres for one week, and then sank unsurprisingly into obscurity. Most people never had a chance to see it until it came out on VHS. Very strange.

  • ...sounds like Narnia....

  • wiat is this dorothy's daughter?

  • @Teenwitch169

No, that is Dorothy. This movie is supposed to take place months after the original Wizard of Oz movie :)

  • @FaunaDragon see looks like a little girl wasn't she a teenager when she first went to Oz?

  • @Teenwitch169 No, Judy Garland was 17 years old when she played the part of a little girl, Dorothy, in the 1939 film "The Wizard of Oz". Read the books by L. Frank Baum. You will find that Dorothy was a lot more intelligent than what Garland portrayed her as.

  • @FaunaDragon

I think the Dorothy character is supposed to be around 11 or 12. The Dorothy actress from the first Wizard of Oz was a teenager, though. This one looks around Dorothy's actual age.

  • I never forgot those wheelers. *chills*

  • @WLP1024usarmy ughhh the wheelers were horrifying.

  • OZ went post apocalyptic

    great movie

  • This movie needs to hurry up and come out on Blu-Ray.

  • much better then the original but then again i really hated the original

  • the tin man scarecrow and the lion look so diffrent its hard to belive its them and it looks so scarey (the characters i mean)

  • This movie scared the shit outta me as a little kid

  • i found this on dvd for $3 a couple of months ago! i couldn't believe it, i mean would have easily paid $4 but for only $3!?!?!?

  • @rudrud85 You... Lucky... BASTARD!

  • Ahh, LOVE this film!! Only just watched it again, havn't seen it for years-it's great!

  • Has nothing to do with the wizard of oz

  • @Freddyfan357 Wrong it is based on the books the marvelous land of oz and ozma of oz by l. frank baum the sequals to the original book the wonderful wizard of oz by l. frank baum

  • @MrJimmyrain69 oh, i did not know that

  • I saw the Move on Showtime on Demand And I LOVE IT!!

  • i find this movie kinda creep me out :S

  • i saw this when i was about 9

  • this was a time when hollywood didnt need remakes or reboots, when they didnt care that none of the original cast returned or were dead, a sequel could come out decades later and actually give an original adventure story. loved it but scared me as a kid. Now i see it as more of a psychological thriller.

  • This was brilliant!

  • i knew this movie existed.... now i just need to find this movie again and watch it... for the longest time i thought it was a dream i had when i was little

  • Oh wow!

That little girl is also the woman that played Nancy in "The Craft".

Now I REALLY wanna see this :D

  • @ElfyWitch ever seen "The Waterboy" she'd adam sandlers badass criminal girlfriend in it

  • SCARIEST. KIDS MOVIE. EVER.

  • If you thought The Wizard of Oz was fantastic, wait until you see what happens when Dorothy Returns to Oz. They are both great movies.

  • I love this movie....for some odd ball reason I like it better than Wizard of Oz., just strange tastes I suppose.

  • So glad I seen this when I was a kid when it was able to scare me.

    Kids love to be scared.

  • This looks dark just like the book. I know that we are all used to the original movie being a happy go lucky, but the book is not. Read the part where the Tin Man becomes the Tin Man, it's a bit gross, and not at all like how he was in the first movie.

  • I'm getting really annoyed with people commenting on this video and saying "I dont get it she looks younger and in the original shes older" this movies more of a darker version of the wizard of oz sure it follows the original sort of and its kind of a sequel however its not sticking to its roots and it doesn't have to the director took his own approach on this movie and he made it his own, and its way more

grim then the original. I like this one better but hey thats just my opinion

  • @flashinglite84 Have you ever read the book "Wizard of Oz"? That book is much, much darker than the movie ever was. Especially, the part on how the Tin Man became the Tin Man. So this movie looks closer to the book than does the happy go lucky movie that we are all used to.

  • I really loved this movie as a kid! Good times! :)

  • Sometimes Disney can make huge mistakes, here is a perfect example of that. The original Wizard Of Oz will always be the best :')

  • might not have been born in the 80's but this was a great part of my childhood

  • why is she a kid wasnt she older in the first one???

  • @Edtweet The 1939 classic portrayed Dorothy as being a bit older than she was in the books.

  • i saw this just once on tv when i was like 6 and i remember quite vividly that this giant rock guy or something gets poisoned by an egg that a hen character lays and drops in his mouth probly cuz the giant rock guy -i think thats what he was- scared the shit out of her cuz he was picking her and that pumpkin-headed character up and was about to drop them in his mouth and swallow their asses lol

  • How can it be return to oz when shes younger and rembers them all

and wizard of oz shes doesn't know em and shes older

  • This looks so cheesee! If it is so good why has the classic wizard of oz more populer?

  • i rented this movie shocked there was a sequel to the original and man i was freaked out the wheelers are scary!

  • this movie was a piece of CRAP! Disney didn't know what the hell they were doing.

  • when she saw the yellow road i knew it was a sequel to the wizard of ozz

  • @EJBfilms When I read the title of the film, I knew it was a sequel to the Wizard of Oz because it was fucking implied.

  • @Renegade66666 well i knew that but i knew for sure that it was

  • @VisionsDotCom many of the book version's sequels did not feature Toto, and many of them did feature Billina the talking Hen. :) "Return to Oz" is meant to be a sequel to the MGM film starring Judy Garland, though its based more on the books than the film with the Ruby Slippers being the only major film element to appear in this one (in the book they were silver shoes). This movie is mainly based on the two books "The Marvelous Land of Oz" and "Ozma of Oz" by L. Frank Baum.

  • Oh my god that room full of the queen's heads freaked the daylights outa me when I was a kid.

  • Wow...this looks disturbing.

  • @MrPennysPop

i loove this movie its reallll good though it does look disturbing

  • .....why is Dorothy 10 years younger? I know plastic surgery was cheap back then, but still...

  • i always loved this movie

  • This film was amazing. It took me years to track down the DVD of the film, but i was able to find it with luck. Apparently they are making another Oz film that is being released this year with Chris Lloyd as the Wizard... Cant wait... BUT yes this version of Oz was dark, creepy and left you on the endge of your seat, especially how this was a low budget film but the most expensive bit of this film was the orginal ruby slippers which they had to pay loads to MGM for the use of them. Great film :)

  • Are people aware that The Wizard of Oz Book series was the Harry Potter of it's time way back in 1900? The author wrote 14 Oz Books total, starting with The Wizard of Oz and then The Land of Oz ( Dorothy is not in this one) and then 12 others; The Tinwoodsman of Oz, Scarecrow of Oz, Glinda of Oz, Dorothy & The Wizard in Oz and many more. Look for them all for-sale on Amazon, Ebay or your local library or book store. The Great grandson of the author wrote Dorothy of Oz- soon animated Feature2012

  • Their is a fun Oz cartoon movie Journey Back to Oz from 1970's with Judy Garland's daughter Liza Minnelli as the voice of Dorothy & Margaret Hamilton (1939 Wicked Witch) as the voice of Aunt Em, who was asked to reprise her role as The Wicked Witch again for this suspost to be sequel Return to Oz, but she said no because she did not want to scare kids more and make them think that dead things could come back to life to get them. ReturnOz is based on Land of Oz & Ozma of Oz Books & no green witch

  • If your expecting the 1939 MGM Wizard of Oz sequel; well this is NOT it !! But if you watch it with an open mind, love anything Oz and are familar with the actress Fairuza Balk who plays Dorothy here and who also plays the Wicked disfunctional crazy girl Witch Nancey in The Craft - you are in for a treat! Why not rent them both!! Return to Oz was amazing, fun and kinda scarey on the big screen in 1985. I saw it twice in a row!! Soon being released will be 3 or 4 New Oz feature films too 2012

  • This movie scared the shit out of me as a kid!

  • @k8staar Me too! And they kept making me watch it over and over again in day care!

  • @k8staar oh my god SAME. the row of heads always gave me nightmares!

  • I dont remember having nightmares specifically about movies as a kid, but they probably contributed heavily to me sleeping with my parents till I was 10! @mcmillspiece

  • wouldent be amazing if judy garland and the rest of the old cast made this sequal!

  • can some one please explain why she is younger even though she "returns" to oz

  • @frankthetank789 well in the original story dorathy is supposed to be much younger!, and either this movie was made before the wizard of oz or not supposed to be a sequal to the characters in the wizard of oz!

  • @frankthetank789 I was wondering that myself.

  • @frankthetank789 Disney's Return to Oz is based on two of the original author's other Oz Books; The Land of Oz and Ozma of Oz. In the first book Wizard of Oz Dorothy is suspost to only be 10 so since this movie is a "sequel" and follows characters based and taken from the other 2 books Dorothy here is shown younger, but she does eventually get the Ruby Slippers back from the Gnome King here. In the original book Dorothy has Silver Slippers, but since MGM filmed movie in color changed them.

  • wow, she is so young.....(Fairuza Balk) i just saw her in The Craft....

  • I understand that opinion, but as stated this is actually closer to the books. Its darker and at bit morbid. People felt the same way when Burton did "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". His is very different form the one we all know and love (Gene Wilder in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory), but actually in step with the book. @TheMusicAngel444

  • @TheMusicAngel444 Dorothy is a child in the books, but they cast her older in the original. This is dark compared to the 1939 film, but it's still quite creative and fun. I think Dorothy is a much stronger character in this than the original.

  • Who would have thought the actress of Dorothy would grow up to play an insane witch :p

  • What a giant movie FAIL.

  • Such a good sequel.

Which is a very big surprise because with Wizard of Oz it's one of those movies you would imagine people would be very very protective over the thought of anyone remaking it or a sequel to it.

But this film was done perfectly.

I also can't believe the good feedback considering it had new actors.

But yeah I love this film, a very different side to OZ as it was bright and magical in the 1930s and then..well the opposite in 1985.

  • Watch this amazing entirely different and unique perspective of Oz. Like the real world even living in a fantsy would can change and become dark and scarey, but filled with fun and awesome adventures!! Don't expect 1939 Musical MGM version, this movie is based on two Oz books The Land of Oz and Ozma of Oz and is more for ages 13 and up, so great for adults too. Beautiful music, exciting, scarey, fun & enjoyable & must be seen more than once to truly appreciate it for what it is & makes U think!

  • me gusto, me gusta y me gustara pork es otro punto de vista de las peliculas tontas infantiles y para mi fue un gran descubrimiento junto con la pelicula de el laberinto

  • my social studies teacher today was like Yeah, there is another wizards of oz movie, it's called Return To Oz and we were all like Nuh uh and he was like there is, and we asked him what it was about and it sounded like he was lying, so we asked him to bring the trailer up and he said no, so then he brought up the movie poster and he was like TOLD YOU but the whole time he was like don't watch it you'll get nightmares, i was scared when i saw it, i said that's pretty sad 4 a 30 somethin yr old XD

  • i didnt know this existed until about 30 seconds ago.

  • @stjimmysdead14 any chance you found out it existed on HROT?

  • @stjimmysdead14 any chance u discovered it on HROT

  • @petrk707 nope youtube actually. btw when i googled hrot cause i didnt know what it was, did you post a thread about me for some reason on it?

  • @stjimmysdead14 haha yeah i did, i thought u posted it 30 seconds after there was a thread about it, didnt realize u posted that 2 months ago, so i was trying to see if you were on there under a diff. name. I thought it was a coincidence but I was clearly way off, haha sorry

  • @stjimmysdead14 I remember seeing this when i was young, but could never find it after, I thought i dreamed it for years.

  • @stjimmysdead14 Holy crap me neither. Well 5 months and 30 seconds after you I guess.

  • When I was little I thought this would be a happy sequel to Wizard of Oz.

Instead it was a freaky horrorfest that gave me nightmares until I was twelve. Don't let the trailer fool you. You'll WANT to forget this movie!

  • All they have to do now is make a sequel to 'The Great Mouse Detective', and Disney will have destroyed every favourite childhood film of mine with the power of the shitty sequels.

  • @GoldenFlither15 Bollocks.

This was probably the best sequel they could of done.

-You could hardly of expected them to use the old cast, infact the original witch died the year this was released.

-It was a fantastic twist on the storyline

-They cut out the annoying music

-It was scary, which was good.

I could go on, this sequel is very under rated as alot of people don't even know about it, which is sad because it's brilliant.

  • @RockstarGamesReviews I see we'll just have to agree to disagree, only because I loved that "annoying" music as a kid, I've never really cared about much back-story and twists in the Land of Oz (even 'Wicked' didn't really do it for me), and I like scary to a certain degree in kid's films, but I always appreciated the Land of Oz as being more whimsical; this just turned out like Tim Burton's 'Alice in Wonderland'.

It's just what I grew up with. It's kind of like 'Toy Story' vs. 'Toy Story 3'.

  • @GoldenFlither15 Actually this movie was a lot more like the book. So was Alice and Wonderland. In truth the "bright, happy, and cheerful" movies you know ruined the original books.

  • @123wickedsweet Okay, I'll give you that. I suppose if they're true to the books and the books is what some people prefer, I can't judge. But again, when it comes to fantasy stories like 'The Wizard of Oz', I personally like the 1939 take on it more. If this is what you go for, then by all means, forget what I said.

  • This sequel is terrible. Way too dark and nothing to do with the original Wizard of Oz.

It doesn't make sense how Oz would be destroyed under another thing that we had never heard of, not even in the books.

If this sequel was decent enough, I would like it, but it fails, especially to a classic film.

Wicked is exceptional as that links to the Wizard of Oz as the backstory of the Wicked Witch. (Who doesn't love Wicked?^^)

Anyone who hasn't seen this film, don't. It really ruins the reputation.

  • @boffinme80 er i guess u have never read the books have you in the book called ozma of oz its a dark book which the film return to oz is based on if you dont like it why watch it try reading the book before you you bad mouth a film

  • @kaizerfsd How about you shut up before you judge other people. I HAVE read the books and the Wizard of Oz, considering to be one of my favourite films ever, I have read the books of that collection and I know that the later books were slightly darker concept but nothing like this. This film got bad reviews because it wasn't linked to Frank Bsum's original series.

And why the hell do you always have to state "If you don't like it why watch it?" What are you, a fucking dictator?!

  • @kaizerfsd I have the right to have my opinion just as you have the right to yours and badmouthing me just because I don't reccommend this to anyone who hasn't seen it is just downright rude!

If you like it fine your choice, but I didn't find it had the charm of the original so that's why I don't like it and I have every right to express my opinion and there's nothing you can do about it.

You don't control Youtube so stop telling me what to do on a video!

  • @kaizerfsd Shut up bitch! You should read reviews next time!!!

  • @boffinme80 This movie had nothing to do with the 1939 movie, "The Wizard of Oz", but had everything to do with the series of Oz books written by L. Frank Baum between 1900 and 1920. Many of the characters and ideas in this movie were based on the second and third books of the series, "The Land of Oz" and "Ozma of Oz". Anyone who has read Baum's magnificent books will find deep satisfaction from this movie.

  • This film was so underrated! I thought it was awesome!

  • Fairuza Balk i think that would be wat started her carrer (yea i no i didnt spell it right)

  • this has gotta be one of the worst sequals ever

  • @MrGrog88

I bet you haven't even seen the film.

The only reason people like you state that is because you've seen the first, the magical and bright original and then you see this one which is the complete opposite.

If you gave this one a go you'd realise it's just as good as the first.

People are too defensive over movies just because they were released first, it's the way people were last year over that new Nightmare on Elm Street movie aswell, it was good but did anyone give it a chance? No.

  • I watched this movie when I was like 4, it scared the hell out of me lol

  • you can never beat the original. I havent seen this movie but I immediately know it won't be as good.

  • @TheEimsi Glad you've got an open mind
