by the way, bugatti does not hold the speed record for a street car. its in the top four though. the fastest is the shelby ssc ultimate aero that went 257mph... and that has a twin turbocharged v8. the next three cars are kinda tied.. the bugatti with the v-16, the hennessy venom 1000 viper with the twin turbo v-10, and the pagani zonda. all these cars top over 250 which is absolutely rediculous in my books.
