This is so true. Judgements made leave a sting and make people harden their hearts. If anyone is living in the northwest suburbs of Illinois and looking for a body of people with open arms and loving hearts, look up Spring Grove Bible Fellowship. My wife and I visited it in February 2011 and since the moment we walked in we were greeted by hugs and enthusiastic greetings. We love this church family and love them like we've known them our whole lives. Praise God for those who walk the walk.

Jesus says to go tell the WORLD about His message. We need to tell EVERYONE about His love, His sacrifice, and above all, His resurrection. For it's the resurrection that makes Jesus amazing. Anyone can die...but it takes the Son of God to conquer death :) So, tell everyone :)

...and the tears roll... i remember the first time i heard this song and saw a skit for it i bawled my eyes out... we can be so mean sometimes. Why do us church people think we are so much above everyone else? It's like when you see someone out in public cussing or something. Why yell at them and then walk away feeling accomplished? You should use that opportunity to tell them about Christ instead. There are so many "I told them" moments... use that moment as a God-portunity

if you are a true follower of Christ you should not be living in sin. If you are "gay" and choosing to stay away from the choice it's because you do not want to leave your sin, and you are in love with your sin more so than the God who died to cover it. If you call yourself a "Christian" and continue to live in and justify ANY sin "intentionally" then I recommend you check your heart. There is a difference between having "Gay" temptations, and acting on them.

I am heterosexual but i was never shunned or stared out at church for having sex before marriage nor was i threateded with hell on a dialy basis or did the church have rallies to have my rights taken away from me. Even though at the time i saw nothing wrong with it and expressed that i was never told "youre not a real christian and going to hell i was simply told to pray about it" which should be our attitude towards gay ppl otherwise we're keeping Jesus from some and not others

I am sooo sorry StarBassPrincess. We strive not to be like this at TVCC. God's love doesn't require that we fit into the church's traditional mold of looking or dressing or even smelling a certain way but that we come to the cross of Christ as we are and let him mold us into the person he wants us to be.
