This could have been incidental music in an ITC series like 'Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased)'! When the sitar comes in I think, they're running past a curry house now...
Oh, how I adore Bill! He was the genius behind Wizzard and as someone said, he left too soon. However, I loved him ELO as well. My school friends were into David Cassidy :-) etc, but Bill was my hero ......
What a great video of a fantastic record. I first hear that nearly 40 years ago but it sounds just as brilliant now. The standard of musicianship on it is frightening !

Maybe the best B- side of the Wizzard singles. Bill Hunt left Wizzard to early. He was an important part in the recordings and his stage performance was amazing.
He said himself later he should have won an oscar for that !
...the power of this instrumental is breathtaking - and achieves the lofty aspirations of ELO (fusing rock and classical) more palpably than most of Jeff Lynne's work (brilliant tough most of that was)...great upload - thanks MITC - now what about 'Rob Roy's Nightmare'...?

I wish there was a recording showing them actually playing this live. It would make for a great car chase come to that.

@JuliaBalbilla Hate to burst your bubble but Roy wrote all the b-sides and gave the royalty cheque to the band members.

@shleml Roy may have written all the other B sides but Bill certainly wrote the Carlsberg Special!
