  • yours is probably one of, if not the best, art demonstrations on youtube. i really appreciate how you explained in detail your method - not only what you were doing, but why. also, taking the time to set up your supplies and prep your paper/canvas(?) was helpful to watch. overall, a very good demo.

  • I can only hope to become as good as you are with pastels. Thanks for posting this. It is not easy to find anyone with a good visual explanation on how to use pastels properly.

  • Love your work and this video. Was sorry not to see your painting in Port Arthur. It was in the Birds Catalog, but wasn't at our venue. Huge fan, Cindy.

  • Beautiful! Very well done painting. I have one question: Is the dust from Pastels toxic?

  • @eliasandrino Oil pastes don't have dust. I believe that is what she is using.

  • @eliasandrino: Yes it is! You sould avoid to breathe it in and also to get it on your skin.

You can use a mask and when you blend the pastel, you should use plastic gloves or a brush, or as I do, use simply something like toilet paper...

( I started just resently to paint with pastel )

  • brilliant !!!!!!!!!!

and i think i need to buy some more pastels, i only have 11 lololol . never knew there was a layer upon layer to get the finished result ( i`m new to pastels C: ) i thought all the colours were do to blending , not due to having that amount of pastel colours.

So i would like to say ThankYou Very Much.

And i think i`ll subscribe. ty
