Any qualified soccer affiliate would be able to detect there was an unusually "passive" acceptance being displayed on the part of two tough female soccer players who have just been outright disrespected as athletes and as women (something women athletes would never stand for once, let alone several times without answering back).

I just notice then Lambert's statement says, "Truly regretful" and not "sorry". I like her choice of words. It's the best evidence her actions were sound not erratic.

Having a look at the limited footage this looks like a game out of control and the referee was not in control of the situation. The two trips and the hair pulling and the punches are all red cards in the English Premier League. They do not look very good at all and would incur a very lengthy suspension. Having said that, on the first one the punch to the back, the white attacking player elbows the defender in the solar plexus quite deliberately before that occurs. That is at least a yellow.

The one with the kicking at the ball, without seeing the whole sequence, it looks like the white player goes dangerously low and at the legs of the red player. That could have been a kneecapping. The fact that after the in goal trip the ball is kicked into the head of the fouled player tells me that this game was out of control. I am certain that the white team were equally guilty, but were obviously not as flamboyant in their dirty play.
