  • Great tone and Great playing ! ..... thanks for the flip info . question please* when you flip the magnet over are you flipping it end to end or flipping it side to side? That is to say, after flipped is the N on the S and vice versa or do the ends remain in the same position? .... thanks again for ur help!

  • @kedocom its not as simple as just flipping the pup, you have to remove the nickel cover and slide the magnet out from underneath the coils, then flip that over and insert it back in and replace the cover.

    The pup itself can face either way, its will not change the sound at all if the pole pieces are facing the bridge or the neck. BUT be careful when removing the covers as the heat needed to take off the solder is insane and i melted a fair bit of wax in the process, sound won't be altered.
