Whilst I don't want any smoker stinking up anywhere near me - I am as furious as you are about Government giving themselves special privileges just for them.
Jehovah created the non-Jew in human form so that the Jew would not have to be served by beasts. The non-Jew is consequently an animal in human form, and condemned to serve the Jew day and night.
to do WHAT?? superiority complex?? God does't like ugly, period. There are NO slaves in our heavenly home. But where the HATERS go, there will be. Repent! or suffer eternity.
That was one of the first things I read when this whole ban business started. It opened my eyes to the fraud for the first time and they've been open ever since. I recomend it for everyone.
Great video - from the Hunting Act to the EU Treaty, to ID cards and the misuse of terrorism laws labour have consistently devalued and eroded the rule of law in this country.
And of course I suspect, this relaxation of the ban - will not just apply to world leaders, but to all their hangers on as well.
I think a good comprimise wouldve been having a full ban in places that dont serve alcohol, and allow places that serve alcohol to have a properly sealed off indoor smoking area as long as they have a decent sized non smoking area.
But why force venues to provide a non smoking area if its only going to lie empty. The real issue is free choice for business/property owners. Those that wish to be smoke free can be so, while those that wish to allow smoking (or have separate areas) can also do so. Then we, as customers, can freely choose which venues to visit.
We're now aproaching 3000 pubs closed since the ban began. But the government refuse to admit the glaringly obvious, that they were wrong. It would be so simple to amend the wording of the law, to state that "It is illegal to smoke inside any premises that the owner of which wishes to be smoke free".
This would allow them to save face, while freeing publicans and other business owners to get back to doing what they do best, running their own business's the way they wish.
It's interesting how our government act as if they're embarassed by their own policies.
I would compare to a big brother bullying the little brother when the parents are out, then the parents come home and big brother's back on his best behaviour.
Eventually, I hope, the little brother will grow bigger than the bully.
I wonder what other 'activities' are temporarily decriminalised behind closed doors for the twisted bastards in power.
A prohibitionist is the sort of man one couldn't care to drink with, even if he drank.

Check out my videos on the smoking ban. I plan on fighting them over the illegal smoking ban which they had no right to pass.

This is typical of todays political `elites ´!
MEP's are also allowed to smoke in the EU parliament buildings in Brussels and Strasbourg !
P.S. Has anyone out there read `Smoke,Lies and the Nanny State ´ by Joe Jackson ?

Very much like the USSR used to do things but they did not ban their people smoking.
Thanks Phil, what a crazy country this is.

Well said Hairy - this just proves that their are sensible alternatives to the blanket ban to cater for everyone.
They don't want everyone catered for though, do they?
