I saw that season finale from season 1 many of times.

Never was able to see it due to schedule issues, but how was the series? I hated the turn the graphics had taken ("hey, let's use the exact designs of Clone Wars... in 3D"), but one episode I saw wasn't that bad.

So which is better. Clone Wars? Or The Clone Wars?

The Clone Wars is more story involved and we see some kick ass battles so the clone wars is the better show

Honestly, I thought the micro-series was better at first. But slowly, you got used to the 3D. Besides, it isn't the exact design of Clone Wars. Quite contrary. As a matter of fact, I suggest you catch up before you watch the season 2 premiere. At least watch Hostage Crisis(episode 22) and Rookies(episode 6). Or maybe even the Ryloth Trilogy(episodes 19-21).

@NightmareGanon I think the Clone wars is way better than Clone wars because of all the new characters, the better animation and just the feel of the clone wars is better, in my opinion :)

This ep was a disapointment. Good scenes with the clones and those senate guards but the writing is sub-par THROUGHOUT the series. I hate to say it's what I've come to expect from SW lately.  The Ryloth eps were good stuff but THIS shouldn't have been the season Finale.
