@MandyKim94 I've been wondering that too. I've seen a couple tutorials and people either say there isn't really a name for it it or they call it a knee drop or just a drop. That's what I've see so far, but nothing official I've come across yet.

I think Maddie is an incredible dancer and her dancing and expression in this piece was beautiful but you can definately see how much more thought, effort and time goes into Maddie's training, routine, music, etc compared to the other dancers and Chloe who is just as talented just in her own way.

All ALDC dancers are great! But a conclusion I came to was that, Maddie and Chloe win more then the other kids because they have alot more turns then acrobatic tricks in thier dancers and Nia, Brooke, Paige, Mackenzie are probaly GREAT at turns but in their dances they have alot of acro. And acro routines never really win at competitions. This is just my opinion! I love the show its so entertaining and the dancers are incredible(:

What i dont understand is how maddie and chloe were compared in season 1... They were both in different categories for most competitions! And abbey is the choreographer so she could make maddies choreography better then chloes, which sometimes she does... But chloe makes her moves look good. Anyways i think they are both amazing, and other people should stop comparing them too, everyone calls maddie a brat and you dont know her! The show makes her look like that so chloe gets more sympathy. But

Even though she came in second with this dance, i think this was my favorite dance of hers. She seemed humble about getting 2nd though, she said she was happy for the other little girl. Overall, I'm so proud of her. She's amazing.
