Theoretically this could be implemented into a car that drives itself to a predefined location, am I right? Of course assuming you had some sort of GPS working for the correct turnings to be made.

Currently there are many services already in the market that helps the driver to stay in their lane, or to warn you in case there is a car overtaking you, to keep safety distance to the precedent vehicle...
With vision we can add rich information such as the curvature of the road that can lead to understand in which lane a vehicle ahead is and then assess if it is a risk or not...
