As governor of Arkansas, Mike Huckabee had a hand in TWICE as many pardons and commutations as his three predecessors combined.
Huckabee granted 1,033 pardons and commutations in his 10 1/2 years as governor of Arkansas. Bill Clinton, Frank White and Tucker granted 507 clemencies in the 17 1/2 years they served as governor.
During his years as governor, Huckabee granted clemency an average of about once every four days.
"What's troubling about The Man From Hope 2.0 is what he represents...compassionate conservatism on steroids...Huckabee believes that the biblical obligation to do "good works" extends to using government -- and your tax dollars -- to bring us closer to the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth." Jonah Goldberg National Review
In a piece for the Huffington Post, journalist Murray Waas says that Huckabee was "provided letters from several women who had been sexually assaulted by DuMond and who indeed predicted that he would rape again -- and perhaps murder -- if released."
It grieves me that so many believers are so easily deceived by religious hucksters.
Ron Paul isn't an apostle Paul, but he's the true, American patriot.
