When this game gets reviewed they better not downgrade it because of drop of characters.....MvC2 was fun but broken and only 10 or 15 characters of the 56 characters were used competetively....

@Ike7175 they wouldnt downgrade it just cuz of the roster size.Personally, i find too many characters in a fighting game is pointless, because as you said, less than half of them are actually used. ill take quality over quantity any day

@SuperTyrant20 Competitively maybe, depends on how balanced the game is but outside of tournaments I think you will find many characters are used, some people do tend pick characters based on more than tier list such as design. Not that I am claiming you do not I am just saying.

@xXxTheSorrowxXx I hate to tell you this but both have been deconfirmed. It really shouldn't be a suprise about Ken. I like him, but I never thought he had a chance. He wasn't in MVC1 or TVC. The only reason he was in MVC2 was because Capcom just copied and pasted every character that was in the previous vs games. Ryu is the face of Capcom fighting games. So whether people like it or not he will always get first priority.

If they didn't deconfirm him yet and showed a silhouette of a helmet wearing Mega Man and a X fans cheer for his inclusion, but later on go into full rage mode when it turned out to be Volnutt instead. @keggie09 I would like him as well, but I hate to tell you this, but recently they said the roster was pretty much finalized so I don't think he's getting in. Here's what Seth Killian said "Unfortunately, the ship has mostly sailed on the character request but who know, you know, there's always DLC and hopefully, we'll have a chance to do some more fighters someday soooo... we'll finally get em all in there". So I can see him being one of the first DLC characters.

It wasn't until after Deadpool was officially confirmed that they revealed Spidey's silhouette because in the recent teaser's they took Deadpool's silhouette out and put Spidey's in. I think that they will add Zero and MegaMan X but i hope they also add Ken (obviously), Guile (i hope), Cody (PLEASE), Guy, Strider Hiryu, Demitri, Abel and Sheva. I really think that Zero and MegaMan from megaman legends and Batsu cause they appear in Tatsunoko vs Capcom so it will be obvious to think that right?

- RS characters have been disconfirmed. So no Batsu.

- The creators said they don't want characters with similar moves. So no Ken.

- Demitri and a lot of other DS characters have been disconfirmed because they said they take to much memory.

- C.Viper is most likely and after her I only see them adding one more SF character which probably will be Bison because a writer on the team said he liked writing for the SF and RE villains. So probably no Guile or Abel.
