Try to use some mosfet transistors en make a high current switch with them, or make a flipflop so you chanche polarity in the desired frequency you like.
a switching circut? maybe a relay? but maybe i need some more details! an i would suggest a breaker somewhere in there... So if theres a problem it will trip the breaker. :)
Johncar143447 -->is right, the light bulb will serve as an isolation and runaway/overload protector and regulator.. however, while the bulb is MANDATORY, get yourself a ceiling fan/light dimmer.. which...listen..does NOT control the Volt-Amp quantities.. but controls the frequency( + & - amplitude peaks per second) cycles known as Hertz. you have 30 one direction and 30 in the other. This dimmer calms the circuit with surprising accuracy ,and almost cools
I'm replying to a year old post, I know. But I just want to point out that a regular dimmer don't modify the frequency. What they do is chop up the waveform with a triac to produce a sort of crude form of pulse width modulation.
well done, water does the same thing, i doubled my fuel milage running a negativly charged water fuel cell, the 3 to 10 minute charge excites the water molicules and the electrons continue to drain out the negative to my battery, this creates strong energy ions/plasma and HHO all held stable in the water.
hi Tiltfulll I think you will need to keep the high voltage arc from your coil to jump the gap I think If you just use it as a trigger to trigger capacitor lower voltage cant jump the gap . If you rectify your ac current you can run it through a light bulb then to the capacitor and then through diodes then to plug and you wont need to switch this high current with a switch cause the spark jumping the gap will trigger it to turn on .

for a switch, try using contacts on a motorized wheel.

Sounds like your confused and you don't know what your talking about.

What are the diodes for?

@EnlightenedPerson to make sure volts do back up the wire

just use a car's distributor to solve your switching problem

Is this not just burning of gas? How is this even close to plasma?

I think hes a little slow, its essentialy how a spark plug works.. He may as well have put the lighter to the end of the plug..
Hes just igniting the Petrol (Gasoline) and assumed its plasma.

Just set up your system as per the Kettering Ignition System found on older vehicles.
Just use a toggle switch.
Google it.
